Hamas is just an excuse, they were slaughtering Palestinians before Hamas , they will slaughter Palestinians during Hamas and after Hamas, that's what criminals do, they will try and murder the victims of theft so they can't make a claim it back.
Look, they were going to enforce their plans for expansion anyway, but there's a difference.
In the late '90s and all through the Second Intifada, almost all Palestinian factions were involved in terrorist acts. I'm not talking about armed resistance,I'm not talking about army ambushes,I'm not talking about guerilla warfare. I'm talking about all the rest. While everybody else eventually "calmed down" or saw that it was fruitless,Hamas was the only one that kept doing it. What do I want to say, that Hamas has been a radical since the beginning. And their persistent attacks and stubborn idea of "either all of Palestine or nothing",caused way more suffering to the Palestinians.
Was there injustice before? Yes. Were Palestinians' lives very hard and complicated(checkpoints, discrimination, settlements inside the West Bank, army to protect the settlers, taking more land from Palestinians in cities like Hebron etc)? Yes!
But the "they slaughrering Palestinians before Hamas and during and after",the problem is that Hamas kept agigating the situation non-stop. They would fire random missiles and proclaim liberations and this and that. Then the IDF would bomb Gaza
kill a number of people, nothing was achieved but a bragging of Hamas being the dominant resistance power.
Hamas in part ENABLED the extremist elements in the Israeli State and society,to push on for more attacks, more raids, more settlements, more "final solution".
2007-2008,Hamas launches a coup and takes over the Gaza Strip. Eliminates Fatah, kills them, arrests them, tortures them. From then on,Hamas starts nonsensical attacks against Israel, which only cause retaliations every time.
It's Hamas that facilitated the extremist Zio plans to takeover Gaza.
So basically you don't know how things would have turned if there was a more peaceful approach,a more peaceful solution. The extreme violence towards Israeli civilians(yes
civilians, don't give me the "reservists" excuse),caused Israeli society and governments to build fences, then walls,be more trigger-happy,be more prejudiced, demand more action against militias and played right into the hands extreme right-wing Zionists who were only happy to bring more settlers from overseas and enable plans they'd hesitate to start if Palestinians were truly seen as ONLY the victims and not aggressors as well,by the international community.
