You can't pick and choose what Jinnah meant when your national character, your entire existence is build on it. If only he had the foresight, but then again I wouldn't blame him, he did a great job with what he had 90% of the country was illiterate they wouldn't be bothered about muh civilization they only care about simple Hindu-Muslim.Jinnah was right. To the letter. We are fundamentally different.
We believe in accepting our past realities. Hindustan does not. Hindustan feels an urge to undo history. So be it.
And that's why you are finding it difficult to properly claim a place in the civilizational state. A section in Pakistan will always object to it and you are only a cog in the wheel while they are the charioteer.
