I am an Indian Hindu, and we Indian Hindus do not see Japan as a land of economic opportunity. Japan means much more to us than that. We want Japan to remain a stronghold of Hindu-Buddhist traditions, and we deeply value its civilizational heritage.
Millions of Japanese visit Buddhist sites in Bihar every year. Today, Bihar has star-rated hotels, better roads, railways, airports, and other infrastructure for tourists. But even when Bihar lacked world-class tourist infrastructure, Japanese people still visited Bihar in huge numbers because of their deep connection with Buddhism and its sacred sites.
Japan is Japan because of its unique Hindu-Buddhist civilizational traditions, and that heritage should never be lost. We do not want Japan to lose its cultural identity or become culturally disconnected from the traditions that shaped it. That is all an average Hindu in India wishes for Japan and the Japanese people.
We don't want to invade Japan, we are not China. We want Japan to remain strong, independent, culturally confident, and connected to its ancient Hindu-Buddhist heritage.
