Not siding with UAE here. I saw the tweet from the some haramain news agency (Saudi), and did my independent analysis on the size of the Kiswah.

Brother, this is a complete non-story, if even true to begin with. The Kiswah is changed once every year after its replacement on the Day of Arafah.

Afterwards it is distributed to museums, as gifts or can be bought by private people. Usually it is divided into several parts. It is 658 square meters (around 7,080 sq ft), so you can just guess how many parts it can be divided into.

My grandfather for instance was gifted a piece of the Kiswah in the 1960's as a gesture of respect and honor for his community service and status in Makkawi (Sharif of Makkah lineage) society.

This individual (Ahmed bin Sulayem) is most likely twisted by all accounts (you have such people in every single society, Pakistan and every single country out there is full of them as well - has no relevance whether poor, rich or middle class) but I have heard relatively good things about his brother, Muhammad bin Sulayem who is the current FIA president.

So why are people like Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud welcoming him into their spaces and posing for laughing happy pics with his arm around Epstein? Besides aren't people not normally allowed to get that near MBS due to security concerns or even a breach of Royal protocol? I think you'd have to know him pretty damn well to have that happen.

The US Department of Justice sent a letter to lawmakers regarding redactions in the files pertaining to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Politico reported on Saturday.

The letter, required by law, includes a general description of the types of redactions made, and a list of notable people mentioned in the files in any way.

The letter also includes an extensive list of high-profile people or “politically exposed persons” referenced in the files, even if they had no interactions with Epstein or his longtime associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, but were mentioned in sources such as press clippings.

The letter, sent to the leaders of the Senate and House Judiciary committees, does not state in what context a name appears.

Bondi criticised after saying all Epstein files have been released​

The US Department of Justice (DoJ) has said it has released all of the files required by the Epstein Files Transparency Act, but lawmakers have argued the release is insufficient.

A letter sent to members of the US Congress on Saturday from US Attorney General Pam Bondi and her deputy said all documents held by the DoJ had been released. It contained a list of names appearing in the files.

Kentucky Republican Representative Thomas Massie, who co-wrote the law, called for the DoJ to also release internal memos outlining past decisions on whether to charge Jeffrey Epstein and his associates.

Millions of new files relating to the late sex offender Epstein were released by the DoJ earlier this month. At the time, the deputy attorney general said three million pages were not released.
