They may be in conversations for FC-1 Block III between Iran and China. I wouldnt discount that possibility given the current very poor state of the Iranian airforce.

However, I dont see Pakistan taking the lead on this to get involved with the JF17C, Pakistan will leave Iran to China as an FC-1 customer if the Iranians are seriously interested.

The same situation as Myanmar dealing with China for the FC1 ( but assembled in Pakistan in contract to China ), whereas Nigeria and Azerbijan was for JF17 with Pakistan taking the lead.

Final assembly of Ruby-1 (FC-1 Of Myanmar) were performed in China.

Pakistan manufactured part of fuselage under work share agreement. I think some posted an article about this on this forum or the previous forum written by Alan Warner (as far I remember)
