This brings me to the question the current status of production run of Block IIIs. This particular framework was the last we saw in public domain produced in 2023. After it there has been nothing and we are already in the last quarter of 2025. Last we heard that PAC was busy producing thunders for Azeri air force but nothing on that front as well. Like no image, no video. So, can some more learned memebers shed some light about the current status of Thunder's production run.

If his aunty had balls, she'd be his uncle

Some of the Indian cope is ridiculous, and borderline madness
What an epic translation 😂

agar Khala Bashiran kay "T" hotay to woh mamu Basir hoti

Modi 2019 "If we had Rafales result would have been different"

Rakesh (Bon Plan) on PDF 2025 "Next time we will have Rafale with correct weapons"

Always a "next time" when a guy loses a brawl....
The biggest change happen in 2019. It broke the myth of MKI superiority. I mean there were posts and posts and threads about how super duper 'Raptor of the East' is and how just few MKIs are enough to wipe out the entire PAF.

Feb 2019 was special because after that day, the invincibility myth transferred from MKI to Rafael. :coffee:

Oh yes, the Indians going on about how the MKI was even "overkill" for PAF.

Utter utter clown show

So i was digging through my old documents and stumbled upon a file i thought i had lost for good.

It was the datasheet for the JF-17s domestic X-Band FCR's TRM requirement.

You can get a pretty good idea of the capabilities from this datasheet. Effectively, they aimed to produce a pretty solid, capable, modern system. Comparable to other radars in class. Decently high performance TRM's etc. Effectively they had gone and aimed to create a modern, high ish end FCR for the Jeff.

Unfortunately the program ended up a bit haywire, but AFAIK, the frontend was completed and a radar development lab does exist and has some pretty serious work on the system. Maybe itll come to fruition in the end, in a couple of years.

PS, the watermark is to prevent the twitter brigade from gatekeeping ToP ShEkReT dAtA.

sorry.

Everything was public and open about jf17. Only few realized its potential. We tend to have fetish over western system that we overshadow other non western systems.
Even our own thought jf17 is just a weak and cannot compete against f16 mlu let alone rafale. Its not the best but its is not bad either.

Celebrate their overconfidence. Pray for it. That is what saves Pakistan and even compensates for Pakistan’s own mistakes.
Better yet, pray the fighting stays on the keyboard. As fun as it can be talking about this stuff, neither side is really below a military threshold that allows it to be dominated. Any conflict with both sides trying to prove a point would really devastate South Asia's infrastructure, economies, quality of life, etc.

The already poor economies and infrastructure will take a huge hit. Beyond a point, India's greater numbers lose strategic benefit if Pakistan can conventionally inflict similar destruction, it's basically a lose-lose.

Domestic political compulsions make it impossible for India’s current government to not engage in aggressive activities to distract from weakened agency .

Pakistan has quelled or created enough domestic and western border issues that it can ill afford a conflict with India regardless of bellicose statements from the leadership to try and distract from national chasms of their creation.

Regardless - none of this relates to the JF-17 and should be left where it is

As long as India's East, South and Central is safe, India will continue thier disgusting ways. All shit cities and infrastructure of India is in the West near the border with Pakistan.

Hence, Pakistan needs fighter Jets cpable of having range to really harm these Indian cities in the East, South and Central.

One thing us Pakistanis MUST realize and put into our head. India will make peace and surrender to everyone (like they did to China), but they won't make peace with Pakistan. Their Hindutva theory doesn't include a 5th largest populated Muslim country in it's neighborhood they now consider "their land" and want it back.

You have Indian Zionism and Israeli Zionism mixed now in Pakistan's case. If May's events havn't told us anything, take a look at recent floods. It takes a week for water to start from Himachal Pardesh to reach Pakistan's bordering area dams in India. They knew a week in advance how much water was coming, had they released water daily for 7 days in less quantity, their dams would absorb the additional flood water and no flood would take place beyond some basic local flooding. But they waited to use the Water bomb, no steps taken and just dumped all that water on Pakistan. This is a separate discussion but I wanted to explain to make the point that India will do anything to literally destroy Pakistan. They want nothing less than our extinction.

All our weapons and war strategies needs to take this most basic point in calculation that we'd have to fight short or long war for our survival. With their large air and air defense posture, what will we need to effectively counter them?
