JF-17 - Updates, News & Discussion

Watching Azerbaijan’s military parade right now. During JF-17C flypast, the announcer said "JF-17s which has been accepted into Azerbaijani arsenal recently". Again, this do not necessarily mean that they have entered active service, but that the aircraft has been purchased.

In case there was a doubt that the procurement was halted or something.

The flags on the Jf-17 formation was not clear on TV. What did people see there?

I missed this detail:

The announcer says that the lead JF-17C in formation is manned by Novruz Tahirov, an Azerbaijani pilot.

AI Translation:
"JF's five newly commissioned multi-role
fighter aircraft also continue aviation display flights in a wedge formation.
The group is commanded by Colonel Novruz
Tahirov, recipient of the Order "For Service to the Fatherland."

The announcement seems very ambigous, considering the formation number 1 is a two seater, than Col Tahirov could be leading from the back seat as well.

are these Pakistani units or Azerbaijan exported ones ?

the last units were built in 23-323 or 23-324
