JF-17 - Updates, News & Discussion

Should be an option in our inventory to destroy communications, GPS , surveillance and targetting satellites. If it is a cheap viable solution then why not? Just need high performance computing and targetting radar and high speed missile guidance and an aircraft to do the job. The JF17 should be able to do the job it can reach the required altitude and launch the missile. As long as the missile can exit into the exosphere then calculations, control and targetting systems can help it meet the target.
Lol why you insist this crap, we don't need anti-satellite weapons, when you to able to detect satellites lot earlier than enter your area

And you still insist that crap 💩 JF-17 is able to launch anti-satellite missile after your above video lol

Believe what you want to believe, loser. People like you who hold Pakistan back, assuming you are Pakistani. so why do you think the JF17 is not upto the task? Interested to know.

Oh bhai you're illogical and lack of common sense, you know what the weight and how big of that anti-satellite missile that fired by F15 in early 80s and F15 is heavyweight jet and big (above 60 feet) whereas our JF-17 is light weight and small jet (less than 50 feet) and JF-17 has no enough power and thrust to weight ratio to be airborne with such huge missile, if it will able to airborne with this huge missile it can't be reach to the firing altitude (above 30,000 feet)

Can the JF-17 be used to shoot down enemy satellites in space like what the F15 did?-

345 miles

In September 1985, an ASM-135A destroyed a real satellite in a pre-planned test. An F-15A launched the missile at 38,100 feet. Streaking into space, the missile homed in on the U.S. Solwind P78-1 satellite at 345 miles above the Earth, and impacted the one-ton spacecraft at about 15,000 mph".

Hi,

Could the JF17 carry such an extremely heavy missile to that altitude---?

Why you still insist that crap again and again? There's no way that JF-17 able to carry such a heavy missile and will get it to firing altitude, I already explained to you in my above post lollipop 🍭

Hi,

Are you saying the JF17 can't carry a 2800lb missile to an altitude of 40000 feet?

Maybe you should revisit your aerodynamics books.

if it can't then what would need to be done to make it able to do so. Just shows you guys aren't engineers or scientists.

There should be a department in KAMRA and PAF dedicated to anti-satellite warfare.

Add one more factor of launch speed (speed of plane when it launch missile) along with missile weight, range and altitude at which it is released.

It's destabilize the jet at that altitude and not able to reach such altitude in timely manner to target the satellite

I have doubts that you are an engineer lol, who doesn't know basic physics 😉

What a cheap feeble reply, wtf , grow up man. max altitude of JF17 is 54K feet . Seems like you didn't read the original article. It's not a chase but a meet trajectory.

Hi,

I am not saying anything---I am just curious---.

Can the JF17 carry such a heavy missile on a centerline hard point---???

I know you but at max altitude no fighter jets can abble to go with any significant payloads

And DO YOU HAVE A COMPREHENSION ISSUE

F15 IS A HEAVY FIGHTER WITH TWO HIGH THRUST CLASS ENGINES WHEREAS JF-17 IS A LIGHT FIGHTER WITH SINGLE LOW END MEDIUM THRUST CLASS ENGINE AND CAN'T HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO GO HIGH WITH 18 FEET AND 3,000+ LBS MISSILES LOL
