JF-17 - Updates, News & Discussion

Hello guys!

The IAF chief is literally exposing the Indian air fraud but with his own churan. Chalo, at least confirmation to aayi that our CM-400AKGs hit 'something' at Adampur and Bhuj with such a massive kinetic impact, it must have shook those entire areas!

@BonPlan @Raj-Hindustani but all missiles were intercepted sar?

Well, this proves two things:-

1. Negates the claims from Bakhts that "CM400s were intercepted".
2. Confirms the accuracy of PAF strikes - they hit where they intended to.

Yep - he has just confirmed that the targeting of locations was correct and Pakistan successfully tracked down the location of the S400's...

"The truth will out" eventually as they say here in the UK..

Yes, idiot just admit we got the hardest part right. Actually finding the S-400

The killing is easy....

AVIC's international trading subsidiary, CATIC, has been using a JF-17B3 specifically for foreign trade air show (with the AVIC logo printed on the vertical tail). They have no shortage of show aircraft.

There's no further reliable information available at this time.

IMO.
Utilizing the JF-17B platform to develop a UAV command aircraft or an EW fighter is a possible approach. While the JF-17's RD-93 engine offers limited power generation, this could be addressed through engine replacement and a dynamic power distribution system. The resulting performance should be sufficient for Pakistan or other countries with limited military budgets. After all, the prices of the J-20S and J-16D are far beyond the budget and military needs of these countries.

This is the exact approach that a few years ago PAF was considering. However, with PFX, it changed and they wanted to build a larger aircraft in the medium category due to requirements and events in May of this year. But whether JF-17B or a larger platform, a software technology and associated sensors can be used in any airframe. But the requirements have changed further both regional and India specific. India in increasing its SU-57 order from 60 to 114 and with TOT like the SU-30 for India based manufacturing. They'll have 150 new Rafales also.

At this time, the funding is NOT an issue for us anymore. We are going to not only build Pakistan airforce's future jets, we are also going to be building jets to field in the Middle East.

People here don't understand where one comes from. So I won't share more details. But expect a 5th gen stealth platform to come join the PAF and be built locally too. The target is to start manufacturing in Pakistan by 2028.

Let's wait and hear news as they come out. Remember: year is 2028!

Because they know there is certain imagery of the missiles getting there. Bhaktoras were posting alleged maxar images that there was no burn marks or otherwise and now their chief negates them completely.

Hi, I saw a video courtesy of the YouTube channel Defence Oupost, that states that this JF-17B prototype version has been re-engined with a RD-93MA engine.

There is no way indian chief can be this stupid... admitting that cm 400 couldn't be intercepted 🤷🤷🤷

The pro-Indian Twitter accounts were deliberately avoiding the total numbers of CM-400AKGs stated by the IAF chief, which hit the sites at Adampur and Bhuj AFSs, but here, officially, the IAF chief at 1:32 is saying, "To 2-4 weapons aesi jagah gire hain jahan hamara system pehle tha." So I am assuming that this confirms that, due to the high caliber/heavy weapon level of the CM-400AKGs, we indeed just launched four of these, two at Adampur and two at Bhuj.
