but in PNs case it's ships are very unlikely to move beyond coastal waters. PN is not going send it's surface ships into deep ocean for surface action because it would sucide to do so it would not need to allocate submarines to protect independent surface groups.

Tughril lmao, as they are currently they can barely even protect themselves let alone provide area defense, PN got them because they were getting them at a highly subsided rate and because they desperately needed new hulls to replace the ancient tariq class.

Because peacetime patrols is not same as sailing out when you are in conflict with a adversary with a far more capable surface fleet.

Have you ever asked yourself why the PN is even bothering with Tugril class, Jinnah class, Babur class frigates? I guess they must be really stupid, you should go and tell them, don't bother wasting money, just stay in port when the indians attack.
