Of course China endorses and of course Iran has its approval too. Look at the Pravin Swaheny video I posted yesterday where he connected the dots of various foreign visits to/from China, Russia, Iran and Pakistan on top of the several meetings between the 'STEP' (Saudia-Turkey-Egypt-Pakistan) diplomats.
This is a big realignment of regional countries and, I believe, if/when the American fleet leaves Iran's vicinity more is to come.

The majority of the US folks can't be happier when that day arrives....

The analyst has hit the bull's eye: terming it as a "Sunni Alliance" by some ultra-motivated quarters inside Iran would hurt Iran the most! Pakistan has no issue with "Shia" Iran and nor has Turkey for 20% of the Pak folks follow Shia Mezheb, and 40% of the folks in Iran are Turkic....

*The last time I was in Istanbul airport for transit I felt like more passengers are conversing in Farsi than in Turkish! I can distinguish the "phonetics" of these two languages.

All we NEED is Saudi funding and Turkish technology. With those we will be fine. In return we can offer Saudi Arabia and Turkey our nuclear umbrella and provide our weapons, logistics and military support to defend them if their sovereignty or existence is threatened.

For those of you who complain about the Mekkah agreement, WHAT is the alternative? Are you happy for Pakistanis, Turks and Saudi Arabians to end up like the Palestinians in Gaza? WHAT is it you want? EXACTLY.............................I'm starting to think that those complaining about the Mekkah pact are not even Pakistanis but rather indian hindu/sikh hindutva trolls or so-called, "indian-Muslims". "indian Muslims" are nothing more than a neutered slave race who feel that they have to be anti-Pakistani in order to be accepted by indian hindus and sikhs, which they so deeply crave.

Egypt will apparently join this alliance as well.

There was an Iran–Iraq–Syria–Lebanon axis, which we cut down, and Syria and Lebanon have left that game. Now we have another alliance.

This requires us to be very, very careful. Pakistan is a country with nuclear weapons, and on this issue we need to remain on guard.

This only strengthens the need for an alliance with a global superpower on the scale of the United States.

I agree, Turkish technology and Saudi funding will help us a lot, but both of those can be obtained without needing an agreement like this that makes us liable for military whenever Saudi attacks the Houthis or if Turkey ever gets into a war with Israel.

Whenever Pakistan has done something for the greater good in the name of islam such as having PAF pilots fighting in Arab air forces in the 1973 Arab israeli war, no one from the arab world has come to help us militarily, let alone support our stance on the Kashmir issue on the international stage.

My point is that Pakistan is ready to put everything on the line in the name of Islam yet we put in more than we get out of this, Pakistan has already received funding from Saudi and cooperation in technology projects with Turkey, which i don't deny the benefit of. Nonetheless, this agreement is a step in the right direction like you said, hopefully taking the initiative will inspire other Muslim countries to join

Pakistani Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke today with Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi.

FM Ishaq Dar also shared the contours of the recently signed Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, underscoring its objectives of strengthening strategic cooperation and contributing to regional peace and security.

FM Araghchi thanked DPM/FM for sharing the key aspects of the Agreement.

Right.
It is in Pakistan's very DNA to rise above the sectarian issues and not be involved too much to take sides in the wars between the Muslim countries. Pakistan, despite being a large Sunni majority nation, has been electing Shia leaders into power for decades. Nobody complains about that except the stupid ignorant people on the street level who think of the sectarian issues. Here are some facts:
Pakistan stayed neutral in the Iran-Iraq war of the 80s despite the Iranians had helped Pakistan against India before that and despite Pakistan being a strong Saudi ally. Pakistan didn't join the war on Saddam in 2003 and even in the 1991 war, limited its support to just guarding the Holy Sites in Saudi Arabia; in both those wars, the Saudis were against Iraq. Pakistan also refused to take part in any kinetic actions against the Houthis in the Saudi-Houthis conflict. Pakistan even continued to recognize the Assad govt despite Turkey-Saudi Arabia against the Assad govt. And in the ongoing war on Iran, it is Pakistan being trusted by both the Iranians and the Saudis to help end the war.
I am sure there are more instances of similar geopolitics by Pakistan.

Pakistan has always played geopolitics reasonably well. Countless examples in history. These "You can't be friends with him because I or my friend doesn't like him" is a 5th grade hangover for infantile sensibilities and understanding. Our military being "sold for dollars" is another.

If the Saudis wanted any support against Iran then they already have it in bucketfuls flying over Iran, as we speak. It's a defensive pact, if Iran does not want to be targeted by it then it need not attack.

Their obsession is Iran (while genocidal campaign and occupation continues in Gaza, West Bank, Libanon).

I assure you, no one gives two avian dangs about Iran in Pakistan or Turkey. Except for good will due to the religious association.

The reason why the Iran–Iraq–Syria–Lebanon axis did not work out was, not including Iran, ALL the other countries in that group are technologically, scientifically, industrially and militarily VERY weak and underdeveloped. Iraq, Syria and Lebanon have to rely on the white european races for their military, industrial and technological needs. They can't produce anything meaningful themselves. A pact/alliance is ONLY as good as the members who make it up. It is the sum of all it's parts. If you have WEAK parts then they will produce a weak product. SAD but true.

Bharat created a secularist delusion in the Muslim world by showing her Muslim population with "sweet talks". I have to admit they were quite successful in it as they could put their animosity toward Pakistan out of this equation. Pakistan is working on putting it there. IMHO, it's the greatest plus from the strictly Pak POV. And, Hindutva gang is enthusiastically carrying out its due part. Modi is a great gift....

Amid rising tensions between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, Egypt is struggling to choose a side. Staying out of the alliance gives Cairo some breathing room.

Egypt has a defence treaty with Abu Dhabi and deployed Rafale fighter jets in response to Iranian strikes against the UAE in May.

According to the second source, this predicament has also led Saudi Arabia to view Egypt as somewhat unreliable.

The source added that Egypt does not want to choose sides between emerging blocs comprising Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan on one side, and Israel, the UAE and India on the other.

Cairo lacks a broader strategic vision beyond the region and remains interested in deepening its commercial ties with New Delhi, while also relying on financial assistance from Abu Dhabi.
