Amid rising tensions between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, Egypt is struggling to choose a side. Staying out of the alliance gives Cairo some breathing room.

Egypt has a defence treaty with Abu Dhabi and deployed Rafale fighter jets in response to Iranian strikes against the UAE in May.

According to the second source, this predicament has also led Saudi Arabia to view Egypt as somewhat unreliable.

The source added that Egypt does not want to choose sides between emerging blocs comprising Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan on one side, and Israel, the UAE and India on the other.

Cairo lacks a broader strategic vision beyond the region and remains interested in deepening its commercial ties with New Delhi, while also relying on financial assistance from Abu Dhabi.

So, when Israel decides to push the people of Gaza into the Sinai, Egypt will face this alone as it has chosen to do so now.

Palestine population is not even 5 million where as Pak Turk Saud population is over 400 million combined. Some people want to risk a nuclear war by jumping on Isreal over Gaza and risk the lives of 400 million people. Yes, Israel will use Nukes if they feel cornered. Sorry I love Palestines but not that much where 400 million people's lives will be at risk.

See this right here is where our collective failure lies, why did we let things get so bad that we either have to save palestinians or our own selves against the tyranny of european jews.

@flyingorca made a logical post. Something I too have posted before in this forum. Disregarding the realities would lead to not only Israel's extinction but also those of tons of millions spread over several countries.

I am that type of person who likes to think about the consequences that will come with your actions. Right now, no nation can undo Israel sorry but thats the bitter truth. THEY WILL USE NUKES. And you cant even use that many nukes on them since Palestine is scattered pretty much throughout Israel.

The Palestine conflict is a political conflict of self determination of the Palestinian identity. It will be a disservice to all 3 religions if their followers make it a religiois conflict.
