UAE is going to find itself surrounded by the Mecca alliance on one side with their foe of Saudi at the core of that alliance as a founding member, and the Iranian's on the other side with whom they have less than ideal relations.

Man, what silly decisions have they made, to find themselves in this situation!!!

I hate to be pessimistic and cynical, but I have good reason to be. A cursory read through this thread will show why this probably won't work. We have Egyptians/Arabs and Turks at each others throats, not to mention the issue with the Iranians, and reminding each other who defeated who hundreds of years ago. But that's quite apt, our history mostly comprises war and conflict among ourselves, most of our blood has been spilt with our own hands. I don't expect our leaders to be any different. It would be a miracle if this so called 'pact' leads to some form of cooperation and less conflict among ourselves, let alone coming to each others aid.

A loose 'union', something akin to the EU, where we instead priorities closer cooperation and the absolute banning of any conflict amongst ourselves, would be a better solution.

Look at Europe and how long they have been fighting and the culture of individuality in Europe, yet they have made the "EU" work, aswell as making NATO work aswell.

There has to be clear goals and objectives to bind together any treaty and alliance, and the framework itself can be a motivator to resolve long standing issues etc.

As a side note, are we about the witness the end of NATO, with the USA going its "own way", and Europe creating off shoot called "EATO" to focus solely on Russia and European defence, with Türkiye left out of EATO and now part of the Mecca alliance? Am I reaching too far on this ?

Well they're going to have to find out a way to iron out their differences and resolve their disputes in a civilised and peaceful manner, otherwise they can consider that their people will end up like the Palestinians in Gaza. There is NO OTHER alternative. The genocidal racists colonialists have made their intentions clear. Even the trillionaire elon musk, the world's richest man has clearly shown that he hates Muslims and is going to do something about the "Muslim problem."

They made the EU and NATO work, because they agreed to never have catastrophic wars amongst each other like WWI and WWII. No matter how divisive their differences may be, they never resort to conflict or undermining each other. That can't be said of the Muslim world.

Sorry, but I don't think anyone gives a two hoots about the Palestinians or Gaza, they're happy to make alliances and sell themselves to make sure they're not attacked.

Bro , UAE ain't going nowhere... after going through repentance rituals she will find comfort in Babaji's lap .

If you're forming your opinion on the basis of this thread then I all can say ! Your naivety is very endearing.

You misread my post. I didn't ask them to care about the Palestinians in Gaza. I insinuated that IF they keep fighting aamongst themselves and don't look at the bigger picture, the fate of the people of THEIR countries would be the SAME as that of the Palestinians in Gaza.

India, Israel, UAE and US already have an established strategic PACT named i2U2

Militarily Israel and India have strong relations and partnership. UAE and Israel also have strong military relations.

Guess what Egypt is also slated to join them... so did the Saudis, should the Abraham Accords had gone through...
However, Egypt is already on the other side.
