Joint Defense Agreement: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

I'm sorry but the pact with Somalia gave us an Egyptian base there and the deployment of hundreds of egyptian soldiers ..
Thats very significant for us, somalia and ethiopia are 2 very important countries for egypt.
And about your alliance with saudia , good for u guys , i like pakistan and its ppl and i hope no pakistani dies there for the sake of the saudi throne.
I hope Egypt partners up with some trained Somalis and nips that Somaliland-Israel nexus in the bud. Egypt has challenges on every single one of its borders.

From the comment:
Saudi Arabia has plenty of money (or, at least plenty of access to credit), lots of weaponry, but a pathetic army.
Turkey is a financial mes
s, but still has a vibrant technology center and a diversified economy, along with a large, modern military.
Pakistan is an economic mess, but they have one of the best professional armies in the world, formidable intelligence, and nukes.
The enemies were in a "Disco Diwana" mode assuming these adverse conditions to be perennial! If they start getting corrected to some extent they'll fall into a collective clinical-level depression...

I just don't understand why some people are picking online fight with Egyptian members.

It's OK if Egypt is not part of the agreement, or even if it does not have strategic relation with Pakistan we are at least not the enemy as nations and states.

At this point in time of history what matter most is the political stability, and economic progress in every Muslim country and this is the most important thing.

I don't know why people don't understand policy of active hostility towards Israel is not what Egypt could afford do hey want Egypt to go towards the direction of Libia, or Syria or Iraq ???

Some people may have difference of opinion but they need to understand one thing as said by former President of Egypt "Egypt could fight war with Israel but not with America" this is the sad truth for every Muslim country including Iran.

As long as Egypt is economically and politically stable there is a hope for the future.

Yeah Egyptians got to look out for Egyptians first and foremost. Egypt over the last decade has already received a lot of financial support from the GCC especially Saudi. Its not like Egypt will get more by joining this pact. Im not sure about the position of the president of Egypt and how legitimate he is according to his own people and how long he will stay in power so he probably has more things to worry about than going to war.

Nevertheless like NATO, countries can join further down the line like any alliance and if i had to put my money down, Id say Egypt and Jordan do join sometime down the line.

With the backing(and assuming the same interoperability and commonality as that of NATO in the future) of KSA and Turkey...and a true article 5 type of clause(as in they will really show up when called upon)...with that Pakistan wouldn't need strategic depth. Instead it would be able to sustain a long term war with India on an even footing.

In context of indo Pak conflict(s), this can add to deterrence against indian stupid misadventures. indian planners now will have to take into account repercussions and consequences before committing to any short term skirmish, in any case they should have learned their lessons by now, but still attacking Pakistan to procure more domestic votes or to please the domestic nutjobs, will be difficult. Pakistan won't need the manpower for small scale conflicts (or even for a full scale war) but any threats of blockades or destroying port cities will now remain wet dreams.

Those who question whether Saudi Arabia or Türkiye will fight India to defend Pakistan, they don't need to.

Exactly. This only adds to complicate things for indian planners.

In that case, is India going to attack those two countries?

Not unless they wish to see oil shortages and millions returning back to home jobless.

Pakistan has basically put an end to indian stupidity that we witnessed in 2019 and 2025. No more misadventures and threats. If they wish to fight, they will face a lot more consequences now.

Amazing. Both China and the US have officially welcomed the Defence Pact.
We should distinguish between "diplomatic etiquette" and "true attitude." If the "true attitude" of China and the United States is genuine support for this agreement, then this is not good news for all three countries.

There is room for Egypt and others to be invited onto this platform. May take time but the defense pact benefits could be enormous

Egypt is far too vulnerable right now. The the zionists/mossad would not allow it and i dont think the egyption state is strong enough to counter their instigations and potential assassinations. I still remember the coup against Morsi for example.

If you look at how the isrealis were able to assassinate countless Iranian leaders and military men, it would be a thousand times easier for them to do it to Egypt.

From the Isreali perspective they cannot allow egypt to join such a pact, the juice are already in dire straights seeing the Turkish army moving incrementally across Syria. Losing Egypt towards Turkiye would be a disaster scenario for them. Add to the fact that north Cyprus is home to about 30k Turkish troops too, basically a noose is being applied around the Zionist neck.

If indeed egypt does want to join because realistically its an actual alliance that could form into something important, its best it stays secret for a while until Turkiye, Pakistan and Saudi can deploy in egypt in a serious way to fend off any isreali instigations.

If a deal is made with egypt, it should remain secret for at least 5 years.

This would also add to Pakistan's soft power in a way. India will have to consider the possibility of a total oil blockade from the middle east. KSA holds considerable sway with GCC(except maybe UAE) and together both KSA and Pakistan will be able to block(and sink if need be) any ships bound for India.
