For 2026-27,

KPK allocated 37% of it's provincial budget for health and education.

Punjab on the other hand only allocated 21% for health and education.

Website isn't opening even in Pakistan.

Anyway comparing 2026-27 budget is pointless.

Punjab Budget 900bn surplus plus 500bn grant to federal govt. Real budget? 4.4 trillion with population 3.5X bigger then KPK.

Punjab is qurbani ka bakra for federal govt.

I'm trying to find similar infographic of KPK budget.

KPK also return money to federal based on its population size. It wasnt some random calculation where punjab was asked to return more and others didn't pay much. If your population is larger, this means you get paid more, but if there is need to return back you will return back more.

And saying allocation doesn't matter, then why even go through the budget approval shitshow ? Why was establishment getting sweet with PTI and asking it to present and approve KPK budget so that they allow meeting with IK ?

Just because KPK is doing something good which it is expdcted to do, and allocated more for health and education , 16% more than punjab. So suddenly it doesn't matter ?

Key point for this budget is the 50 billion allocation for sehat card. It is 15 billion more than last year. Because KPK introduced OPD services under sehat card as well last year (pilot project from mardan) and it planned to expand that to whole province. So 50 billion for sehat card which gives you all sort of treatments as well as OPD services tests, medication etc are also covered now. Before this OPD were not covered in Sehat card.

Punjab current expenditure is only 2 times bigger then KPK, Rs3.3 trillion. While population is 3.5 times bigger. This mean KPK govt is too big for its own good.

KPK debt is half of Punjab. Despite 3.5x smaller population.

Another thing is with such high fixed current expenditure, KPK ruling govt always make unrealistic budget to show development projects on paper that end up nowhere. For example KPK 2025-26 budget was Rs2 trillion but by end of FY it was Rs1.5 trillion, 28% reduction.

This is why you don't see much work being done on ground by KPK govt. Instead of reforms that will reduce current expedentiture and increase dev budget. They are ruining KPK.

Do you know why ? Because federal government want to punish KPK amd its government for supporting PTI and Imran Khan.

Now cry me a river again on Punjab not getting enough funds despite having a surplus of 900 billion rupees. While on the other hand KPK have to work with federal government "promises".
