At last, today the military spokesperson DG ISPR admitted that terrorists were deliberately given shelter in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After this confessionary statement, the current and former military leadership — including the ISPR propaganda cell — must be punished to the fullest extent for being responsible for the deaths of our every citizen and soldier.
In October 2021, the military leadership tried very hard to get approval for their schemes under the name of negotiations and settlement projects, and to pin the entire desire for a new war on Imran Khan. But we argued the case and the Prime Minister rejected your plan.
The following month, the PDM was briefed on this plan; ventilator-government discussions were irrelevant. Government ministers, including the Interior Minister, came out and tweeted and issued statements in favor of the plan, and a delegation was sent to Afghanistan under military patronage.
— As soon as news of the delegation came, I asked five questions: After sacrificing 80,000 lives, why are we destroying peace again? Under what mandate was this delegation sent? What talks are taking place? Etc.
— In August 2022 the process of bringing them in from Afghanistan began. I raised my voice. Your own organization called me on the phone and said “stay out of it.” I replied that after 80,000 martyrs I would not allow our peace to be destroyed. Today, the way you were shaping narratives about human lives is exactly how your organization had earlier issued press releases denying the return of terrorism was true; the Interior Minister also called it propaganda.
— I led a public movement; your organization phoned me and said “give us 48 hours” and they would withdraw — and strangely, under your patronage, they did leave Swat.
— They reached the Dera (mountains) of Dir and I called for another protest. Then the ISPR and ISI phoned saying they had left Swat, and telling me not to become the country’s “fixer.” But I became the peace-keeper and stayed on the roads until the last person had been removed. Peace was established, but my life became misery — I have described this in detail.
— Then another attempt was made, and this time they began to spread them, just as is happening today. The ISI, MI, and ISPR together labeled me an enemy of the state and said I was lying.
— The Taliban were angry, and you were angry too — because you had promised to bring them and settle them. You were angry because the state is us; if we decided on a new war, who was this obstacle in the way? I begged and pleaded that they not do it — our own people would be used as fuel, our youth would be martyred — but “you” would not listen.
— Then we called for protests in Rawalpindi, and when they saw that you loaded them into vehicles and sent them back, you repeated your resolve that you would bring them again but first you would “fix” us. Your brothers also expressed that once the snow melts they will come, and they would first take care of you. On 24 April 2023 those who attacked the Swat CCD police station came for that same purpose — when I was not there they attacked the station.
— It was clear they would now be settled from the southern districts, so I called for a peace movement there. The very next day an order was issued to capture me “dead or alive.” Until then the 9 May false flag had not happened — so for what crime was I wanted?
— During the caretaker government the process of settling them from the southern districts began; they were settled among the local population.
— Even during the days of the floods, when the nation was busy dealing with the disaster, the work of transporting them from Bajaur to the mountains of Dir and Swat continued smoothly. The ISI informed local administration of their routes and that night ordered them not to go out by switching off lights in their offices or police stations.
There are many details — what should I tell you? From your frenzied speech today it is clear you are anxious to complete the commitments made to foreign powers and to prolong the use of that power. Then you go to funerals and make emotional speeches, tell lies, shed crocodile tears — but my nation is tired of being sacrificed to your greed. My people have already been made into many sacrificial lambs to keep your power going. The blood of every Pakistani citizen, every young person, is on your hands. Why should the children of the poor become fuel for your wars any more?
