I genuinely thought we would be launching a massive military operation in the region again but guess not... I mean military operation alone wont bring complete peace but at least few peaceful years.

It's problematic because of the mujra the locals would do

The second problem with big operations is that any terrorist, just melts into the local dopey population and those people won't identify the terrorists in their midsts

So the risk is a big operation, will end up creating more trouble and animosity then actually getting terrorists

It's only when a target, town, area is infested where we can move out locals before a operation does it make sense

The issue really is THE LOCALS are COMPLICIT and we are having trouble changing their idiot minds

Terrorists carried out another act of violence in the Tirah Valley of Khyber district, blowing up the hujra (community hall) of Awami National Party (ANP) District President Abdul Raziq Sunday night. According to police, the attackers used explosive material, completely destroying the structure and reducing all valuable items inside to rubble.

Police officials said that Abdul Raziq’s palatial residence had previously been set ablaze by militants about two years ago. Due to the worsening law and order situation in the area, he had vacated the locality nearly four years ago because of persistent security threats.

Authorities further revealed that the ANP leader had been receiving continuous threats from terrorists for a long time. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the latest incident, as the hujra had remained uninhabited for an extended period.

After the explosion, security forces and police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to trace the perpetrators. Investigations are underway to determine the nature of the blast and identify those responsible for the attack.

Political and social circles have strongly condemned the incident, calling it an attack on democratic forces and peace in the region. They have demanded the immediate restoration of law and order in Tirah Valley and swift, effective action against the elements involved to prevent further acts of terrorism.

BANNU: The former nazim of Bannu district’s Domel tehsil, Fida Muhammad Khan Wazir, was injured in a bomb blast outside his office on Tuesday.

Asif Hassan, the Bannu police spokesperson, confirmed the incident to Dawn, saying that a pre-installed improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated at the office gate in the Domel Bazaar area.

Soon after it was reported, a heavy contingent rushed to the scene, cordoned off the area and formally initiated an investigation.

Police and local sources said the explosion occurred outside the main gate of the former nazim’s office in Domel Bazaar.

At the time of the blast, Wazir was present in his vehicle and sustained minor injuries, they said.

As a result of the explosion, his vehicle was completely destroyed, while the office gate and the surrounding area also suffered damage, they added.

It is worth mentioning that Wazir has previously played a leading role in peace movements against terrorism and remained at the forefront in forming tribal lashkars to establish peace in the area.

Based on Credible intelligence from Markhor, security forces conducted multiple counter-terrorism operations across different locations in a single day.
