DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unidentified armed militants attacked the Khutti police checkpoint in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district late on Saturday night, triggering an exchange of fire with security personnel, police officials said.

According to the police, the assailants carried out the attack under the cover of darkness using heavy weapons. Personnel stationed at the checkpoint responded swiftly and returned fire, forcing the attackers to retreat.

During the exchange, one police constable sustained injuries. Officials said the militants managed to flee from the scene following the retaliatory action by the police.

Soon after the incident, a heavy contingent of police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel, led by SP City Division Murtaza Khan Bangash, reached the site and cordoned off the area.

The injured constable was taken to a hospital for medical treatment, and a search operation was launched in the surrounding locality to trace the attackers.

Blame the local 🤷
If military taking half the budget with unlimited powers cant squash a small insurgency then pakistan military has to be the most incompetent military in whole region

The previous excuses of judiciary sets them free doesnt work, does it

Crushing a insurgency is not just a military job, it's the responsibility of the whole society

And the problem is too many locals are COMPLICIT
Military isn't magic, it needs locals to speak out, point out, not harbor or spread propaganda

And the locals and PTI, PTM, ANP at large do ALL THOSE THINGS

Security can't do anything until the locals are ready to get rid of terrorism

Without local support insurgency like TTP won't last 2 months, but PTI ke chu they don't understand all this, for them if their idiot leader say its day outside during the night, they will believe it. But its good that CTD is hunting Terrorists within Pakistan while PAF/PA is pounding the Afghan haram khors despite PTI ke chu's booty are on fire.

There has been a major noticeable drop in terrorism since the operation against Afghanistan, it can't just be me who feels so, I'm sure the statistics will reflect this too.

Perhaps BLA attacks have not decreased as much.
