If just some of them pick up the phone to notify security that their are a bunch of gunmen roaming around a location then terrorism would drop 90%
Oh no how can we expect them to call forces that a bunch of TTP are roaming with guns, TTP has advance signal intelligence satellites in lower orbit, if someone call the Forces they will trace his/her call and kill him.. and expecting civic duties from Tribals is like expecting good hygiene from Indian, that's not gonna happen.
Now my point is that, these people will argue that TTP will take revenge if someone called forces, they got scared etc, but when Army conducts operations then these people grab their Ak's and become macho, but when TTP comes in they become Cowards, so what are the Tribals? Brave Tribal people or cowards who can't stand up to few hundred TTP fighters who are blowing up the schools which will educate the kids of Tribals, and destroying their livelyhoods by committing acts of terrorism, hence no one wants to invest in their region, no one wants to go as tourists.
We might see the remaining apes evolve into humans but we won't say the people of this region stop or give up on violence, into 21st century that whole Pushtoon belt is known for just one thing and one thing alone, suicide bombings, few other things they popularize is bacha bazi, drugs farming, smuggling and cutting throats and body mutiliation. Like I said in my previous post, when was the last time anyone heard a positive constructive news from KPK ?? or when was the last time you heard anyone from that region to just realize that maybe we have some issues within our society, Punjab is doing better when it comes to terrorism despite wide spread corruption and poverty, similar thing about Sindh, Poverty exists in Sindh, sentiments of lasaniyat are there but we rarely get news of suicide bombings or throat cutting from there.
Sindh region on both side of border (Pak-Ind) lives Sindhi's and other non-Pushtoon's, punjab both sides of border are majority of Punjabi's and other ethnic group, look at who lives on both side of KPK-Afghanistan, and Baluchistan-Afghanistan, and its not hard to see a pattern, but just call anyone who point it out as racist and shrugg off, while in Baluchistan people are literally executed after seeing their CNIC cards, Punjabi laborers are executed just because they are Punjabi's but if you call these people out they will call you racists, and say things like but but but their greviences and about poverty etc etc.
