Lebanon-Israel War | 2023-present

Israel didn't intervene in Lebanon to conquer territory
I stop reading your post after this. You need to stop putting false statements up or you will be restricted. All israel is about is conquering land - stealing land - by simply killing the masses.
They are simply the lowest form of human

Ah, this post could be an example of what one professor called, "writing in code when writing in the clear isn't acceptable....anybody with a brain and sense knew what the right words to substitute were" (she was talking about nineteenth-century French Empire intellectuals, iirc.)

What relevancy has this 92 year old conflict to events occurring in South Lebanon today or Hezbollah actions or Israeli actions in the region? The answer is nothing.

The land that was conquered was the Emirate of Asir (Idrisid Emirate) that I linked to and which the Wikipedia article clearly talks about in great detail. They were a vassal state of KSA and allied with, previously, the Kingdom of Hejaz.

North Yemen (Kingdom) wanted to annex those territories and attacked KSA. With Italian help. Yet they still lost.
The point is, they lost. It wasn't enough for the Sauds to win. The Yemenis had to lose.
I am not aware of any Jews of Najran being "kicked out".
See Israeli born in Saudi Arabia implores king to allow him to visit before he dies or The Last Jew From Saudi Arabia. He was particularly fond of how he was treated by Saudi soldiers.

You know, based on previous interactions with me, that I have nothing against non-hostile Jews. You also know that I have nothing against non-hostile Arab Jews - in fact I consider them brethren. In a perfect world we SHOULD have cordial relations with them.

Even more so with Saudi Arabian Jews.

This former Israeli mayor (Saudi Arabian Jew in your article), I would have nothing against having him visit his birthplace (Najran) or to visit his grandparents graves.

While Jews in Europe were massacred and persecuted for centuries - Jews in the Arab world flourished. Barely ever being persecuted - at least in Arabia. Yemen/South KSA was a paradise for Jews and their core area in terms of preserving ancient Jewish culture and practices. We lived in peace completely. There were never any problems from what I am aware of.

But the manner in which the modern-day state of Israel came to be and the bloody events (Nakba) and quite frankly the appalling treatment of the local Palestinian population completely changed this relationship - as well as the introduction of foreign Western/European ideologies (political Zionism etc.).

This was the work of mostly European Jews - Arab Jews were not a part of it but they became victims by guilt of association. It was wrong - just like the treatment of the Palestinians have been wrong since the very beginning.

We both know when, why and how the problems began. No point in going through this again.

BTW, I have never heard about this individual and there is close to no knowledge about this in KSA nor can I find any information in Arabic. Most locals have no idea about such people.

I am more interested in focusing on the future as we cannot turn back time.

How did Hezbollah 'reappear' south of Litani with its weapons?

by Naharnet Newsdesk 1 hour ago

The Hezbollah members fighting in the area south of the Litani River are the sons of the area's villages and towns, supported by fighters from the Bekaa Valley and other regions, including foreigners, a media report said.

"These fighters moved to the battle zones after the start of the war on Iran, and they arrived without weapons," the Nidaa al-Watan newspaper quoted a Lebanese official as saying.

"This point is crucial: where did the weapons come from? How could illegal Iranian weapons appear in an area that the army claimed to have brought under its control? The state offers justifications, arguing that Hezbollah did not cooperate with the Lebanese Army and did not hand over maps of weapons deployment," the daily said.

"Furthermore, the south is vast, and it appears that this practice of storing weapons in homes has been going on for over 40 years, with Lebanese security agencies lacking sufficient data. Since the era of President Emile Lahoud and the Israeli withdrawal from the south in May 2000, the state has been largely absent," the newspaper added.

Hezbollah didn't need to transport fighters with their weapons; they simply went to the south and deployed to areas where weapons were already present, especially after the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps had restructured them and the party had rebuilt its infrastructure, the report explained.

"Consequently, Hezbollah's installations weren't limited to the tunnels that had been seized and booby-trapped, but extended to homes and fields," it said.

Those are all official Lebanese accounts, including the Lebanese Shia cleric. Why the censorship and desperation to whitewash the Iranian regime which is deeply unpopular in Lebanon itself and among a huge segment of Lebanese Shia Arab community?

Has this forum become a propaganda central and echo chamber for the ramblings of that particular regime? A regime that is deeply disliked within Iran itself as well?

A few months ago they killed 1000's of their own people (protestors). The whole world saw it.

Come on bro, you are better than that.

You can support the Iranian regime against Israel and the US. That is a completely different topic to what I posted. I have no problem with that.

South Lebanon is being razed to the ground courtesy of Hezbollah. 1000's of Lebanese have died. For what? So Hezbollah could send a few useless firecrackers at North Israel (heavily populated by Israeli Arabs) and kill what 2-3 Israeli soldiers?

Is the life of an Israeli 500-1000 times greater than that of a Lebanese?

Is the Hezbollah cult, that has helped usurp Lebanon, going to magically defeat Israel?

More Lebanese:

All 3 Lebanese (verified users). I can post 1000's of them if necessary. No propaganda in sight.

Hezbollah will be uprooted from conspiring against the Lebanese state. Lebanese people, Arab world and International community will ensure this and there is nothing anybody can do about this. The process is already ongoing. If not, South Lebanon is at risk of being permanently annexed by Israel but if that is what the Iranian regime follower retards want - then there is nothing we can do about this either. The main victims will be Lebanese Shia Arabs - not other Lebanese. Most Lebanese do not even welcome those displaced Hezbollah supporters within Lebanon. Syria next door would murder them (Hezbollah supporters) If they enter Syria where they are despised. If they enter Israel they will get killed too. They have made their beds - now they should "enjoy" the consequences, I am afraid. Zero sympathy for them.

Its not the official line - it was a dodgy account. I want objective and varied views. Iran is not perfect - making errors and mistakes but you portraying your homeland as a perfect paradise is far from the truth.
A nation that has a leader cusping Netanyahu and Trumps balls has nothing to be proud.
Now back to the topic - describing Hezbollah a cult is IMO biased to the max.
Suggesting 1000s were killed is exaggerated - i dont see the iranian masses wanting regime change - far from it.

Way off topic and last warning.
Nothing to do with censorship - just poor quality and nonsense.
Last warning -
I dont want to ban you but anymore nonsense and you are toast

I would like to extend my congratulations to Israel for a game well played.

Israel to hold southern Lebanon territory

Israel has announced plans to maintain a security zone deep inside southern Lebanon, extending to the Litani River, even after the current war with Hezbollah ends. The move, modeled on tactics used in Gaza, includes demolishing border villages and preventing displaced Lebanese from returning until Israel deems its north secure. The decision signals a shift toward a long-term military presence, raising fears of prolonged conflict and regional instability.

Gaza is a prison unlike southern Lebanon and Hezbollah rockets can hit Israeli north well beyond the Litani. The cost of this occupation will be very high for Israel and it will quit after some years.
