2 Israelis seriously injured in latest Hezbollah rocket barrage

So they basically want "Israel" to keep attacking the Lebanese resistance and civilians while Hezbollah ceases its resistance operations. What kind of nonsense is that?

"️US says Israel’s “right to self-defense” remains untouched under Lebanon ceasefire

In a statement released by the US State Department, Washington has once again stressed that Israel’s right to self-defense “is not impeded” by the 10-day cessation of hostilities with Lebanon, effectively allowing continued attacks under the justification of imminent or ongoing threats.

The framework, presented as a step toward so-called “peace,” speaks of sovereignty, stability, and mutual recognition, while placing the burden on Lebanon to rein in Hezbollah.

Brokered by the US, the framework is being sold as a goodwill gesture to enable negotiations; the usual language of security and diplomacy, even as the terms leave room for continued escalation under the guise of defense."

3 paratrooper brigades, including the Givati Brigade and the 401st Armored Brigade, meaning just under 15,000 soldiers, were mobilized to take Bint Jbeil, a town 4 km from the border.

Despite this, the Israelis failed to capture the town, facing just a few hundred fighters without air cover.

Are the fighters at Bint Jbeil still encircled during the ceasefire? Or will Israel withdraw?

I don’t agree with this article that Hezbollah had a near death experience in November 2024.

Just like the US and Israel have seriously overestimated the amount of damage they have inflicted on Iran through their air campaign in the current war, Israel made the same overestimation mistake against Hezbollah in November 2024.

While Israel got some significant tactical victories against Hezbollah in November 2024 and onwards, it was no where near even destroying Hezbollah. Most of Hezbollah’s arsenal has remained intact, in deep underground tunnel facilities. Hezbollah has built up its arsenal over decades, and it cannot be eradicated by a few weeks or even months of aerial war by Israel.

What happened most probably post November 2024 was that Hezbollah took a step back (probably at the direction of Iran) from the Palestinian conflict, and introspected its vulnerabilities. That is how it has come out stronger than before.

Hezbollah will be disarmed one way or the other , make no mistake about it....2 injured 5 injured , ,2 brigades 5 brigades are all irrelevant...
