NEWS | On Friday evening, Israel launched its largest wave of airstrikes in southern Lebanon since last year’s ceasefire deal, firing 20-25 missiles across at least 15 locations in half an hour.

Following American mediation, Israel and Lebanon agreed to start negotiations to resolve the disputes on the land border between the countries, a senior American said.

Analysis of post-war status quo in Lebanon:
Hezbollah took a major hit but is still present and strong, the ceasefire was signed while Tel Aviv was getting bombed and Israeli troops unable to advance in the South.
Right now they're thowing all the responsibility of the defense of Lebanon on the Lebanese State because for the past 20 years the anti-resistance parties in Lebanon have been saying that diplomacy is the only true way to defend sovereignty and land.
The USA is trying to tie reconstruction with the disarmament of Hezbollah.
I believe Hezbollah will let this situation strech as long as possible while assessing it's security failures and re-grouping until public anger explodes and demands actions against the occupation as they witness the incapacity of the Lebanese state.
