EIL has been providing services for various Refinery and Gas Processing projects in North Africa, particularly in Algeria for Sonatrach since 1978. A prominent assignment in the African continent is the ongoing EPCM/PMC Services for a 650,000 BPSD grass root Petroleum Refinery and 830,000 TPA Petrochemical Complex at Lekki Free Trade Zone, Nigeria for Dangote Oil Refining Company (DORC). This will become the largest single train refinery in the world. The Company is also setting up the first ever oil refinery project of Mongolia under Line of Credit funding by Government of India to Government of Mongolia.
In line with its diversification initiatives, EIL has executed Fertilizer projects for many international clients including Indorama and Brass Fertilizers in Nigeria, Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) and Panca Amara Utama, Indonesia.
