The viper with #82701 was lost on 22/10/1994 at Sargodha AFB suffering a birdhit. The pilot ejected safely.

Amjad Javed (RIP) was retired forcibly as a Wing Commander by PAF in the late 1980s. He was indeed an F-16 pilot, squadron commander of two F-16 squadrons (No. 11 & No.14) and was part of the second cadre of F-16 instructor pilots trained in the US.
 
Quaid was a man of vision who emphasized of strong air force and strong navy right after the creation of Pak.
