Rome has one of littlest Metro networks due to obvious reasons: The city is full of underground places with historic value.

I dont see the a large amount of metro stations in the Tehran metro subway map, Paris is larger in amount of metro stations and lines surely.

And Mexico must have a very much larger network in kilometers.

the Chabahar - Zahedan railway is complete and will be operational within a few months

a separate railway connecting Zahedan to Karanj and Kabul is planned. this would give Afghanistan access to the sea port in Chabahar



the Five Nations Railway Corridor is also in progress, connecting Iran with the central Asian states (Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan) and China.

as part of the Five Nations Corridor, the Khaf-Ghourian railway has been operational since 2023 and the route to Herat is expected to be complete by the end of 2027

simultaneously, Iran and Turkey are in detailed plans with Afghanistan to build a railway from Herat to Mazar i Sharif

What's the point? These Central Asian countries have closed their airspace to us (Turkmenistan and Afghanistan).

Yesterday, our flight to Tajikistan got canceled because both of them refused to allow our air line to pass through. Now we should help them connect to international waters in this situation?

Maybe once we have settled the air travel issue, we can launch this project.
