Made in Iran

In Tehran even the most remote areas have a metro station nearby.

Tehran’s underground metro network is one of the largest in the world.

Rome has one of littlest Metro networks due to obvious reasons: The city is full of underground places with historic value.

I dont see the a large amount of metro stations in the Tehran metro subway map, Paris is larger in amount of metro stations and lines surely.

And Mexico must have a very much larger network in kilometers.

the Chabahar - Zahedan railway is complete and will be operational within a few months

a separate railway connecting Zahedan to Karanj and Kabul is planned. this would give Afghanistan access to the sea port in Chabahar

the Five Nations Railway Corridor is also in progress, connecting Iran with the central Asian states (Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan) and China.

as part of the Five Nations Corridor, the Khaf-Ghourian railway has been operational since 2023 and the route to Herat is expected to be complete by the end of 2027

simultaneously, Iran and Turkey are in detailed plans with Afghanistan to build a railway from Herat to Mazar i Sharif

further integration with Central Asia (and then China and Russia) is crucial for Iran

What's the point? These Central Asian countries have closed their airspace to us (Turkmenistan and Afghanistan).

Yesterday, our flight to Tajikistan got canceled because both of them refused to allow our air line to pass through. Now we should help them connect to international waters in this situation? :)

Maybe once we have settled the air travel issue, we can launch this project.

Iran's Nuclear Program Is NOT Going Anywhere, It Is EXPANDING

Russia's state-owned nuclear corporation, Rosatom, has signed agreements to build 8 MORE Nuclear Power Units in Iran, according to CEO Alexey Likhachev.

He Confirmed:
• Bushehr Units 2 and 3 remain under construction.
• Additional agreements cover small-scale nuclear power units.
• Russian personnel at Bushehr will increase to 700.

The announcement underscores Russia's continued commitment to expanding Iran's civilian nuclear infrastructure despite U.S. pressure.

This is very good, that railway should also be connected to Turkey. Trade between nations of the same region and religion make them only stronger.

This is the only map i can find of this route :

So it is still reliant on the central asian states, ie it does not go via the Wakhan Corridor.

So, how much of an achievement is this versus the existing routes that go over Turkmenistan? ( other than slower lower transit fees with fewer countries charging a fee ? ).

Existing route :

I guess it will provide more transport "bandwidth" for freight flow which is a good thing for Iran by having two routes.

Pakistan has recently signed on to use Iran's infrastructure to send trade to Türkiye already, and the central Asian states so Iran's geography is starting to work for it as effectively every one has has given up on Afghanistan as much as possible.

It is very wise.

Nuclear reactors are the future paired with renewable energies.

Irán invested a lot in solar energy, you can see tens of solar fields (still small) around the country. Wind should be also increased. But a back up system is still necessary. And nuclear reactors are cleaner and cheaper than gas combined cycle.

Spaniards don't want nuclear energy and that I think It is a mistake. Irán is combining renewable energies with nuclear which is better than gas combined cycle plants.
