Wonderful updates as usual. We are quickly catching up and more so even. Just the beginning as well. I have no doubt that in say 10 years (maximum is my estimation) 50% of all weapons used/purchased will be made within KSA and a lot of strategic weapons and components at that too which is already the case in some fields.
Even more so considering the large amount of annual local Saudi Arabian STEM talent emerging that is starting to prove itself in international competitions - male and female alike. KAUST (a jewel) and the private sector is also booming on this front as is the state (government) commitment.
Money is no problem either nor in-house materials necessary (from rare earth minerals to uranium etc.) so everything is there to make the vision a reality.
A bright future without a doubt.
BTW what is the status of KSA participating in the GCAP project?
Looks like both UK and Italy are onboard.
Japan probably too.

I think that such projects will only accelerate the trajectory that KSA is on currently.
Just a shame that this change could not have occurred a bit earlier for numerous reasons. Would have given us a head start of 5-10 years but better late than never and really no need to lament what happened in the past when the present is very bright and the future much more so.
