EMBRAER offers Saudi Arabia to manufacture the C-390 aircraft
Today, I visited the factory headquarters of the famous Brazilian company Embraer, which specializes in the manufacture of civil and military aircraft. The 155 mm 8x8 howitzer project represents a major leap forward in the Saudi defense industry, as it aims to compete with European-made wheeled howitzers with a product that was entirely designed and developed within the Kingdom. Based on the chassis of the TATRA 8x8 truck, the new howitzer features an armored crew cabin at the front and a 155 mm gun at the rear, and is equipped with a semi-automatic loading system and magazine for charges and rounds.
