Pakistan just like Turkiye shares a dissident group with Iran. Kurds with Turkiye/Iraq and Baloch with Pakistan.
Turks have managed their Kurds... Iraq cannot and Pakistan still has a simmering insurgency. Pakistan even helped Iran arrest one flying from Emirates a while back...
Pakistani feud with India and their tentacles through Iran have been known but ir was always India that had to show it's true colors for Iran to ever understand Pakistani position.
They have an inherent distrust of Pakistan... as Pakistanis have of others... that the other is secretly out to get them...

Until they're exposed.

As for the rest the bottom line is that each has their own interest at heart!

Anyone with a brain cell would wonder why Iran does not apply the same logic to India that it applies to Saudi, and why Iran seems open to India despite losing a ship and it's not as if those logistic agreements with the USA are going anywhere

If Iran wasn't all good with Pakistan, it wasn't... they had their reasons and their belief remained ... post shah. That Pakistan was/is under influence of the empire..

Be as it may... Pakistan was part of several organizations set up by the US to counter Soviet influences in the region, with Iran. That changed post revolution...

This is the hubris I spoke of earlier.

Someone needs to clarify for me if this strategy of the Houthis will actually do anything for Gazans that is of help to them.

It is a miscalculation if they think dragging Pakistan into a war helps Gazans. What happened to Hamas when they took the Israeli bait? Do people still think Israel was "ambushed" on that day in October some years back now?

Ansarullah should have played a smarter game, instead of picking an unwinnable fight against KSA. Sure, folks will remind me that KSA can't win against these irregulars, but then what can they hope to do against KSA?? The only winner here is squatting in Tel Aviv.
