What was the purpose of the pact?

Please define that, as well define what specific obligations are defined in the pact?

Saudi hasn't even asked for help and you babbling for no reason.

Do the Saudis consider it a failure? No

Do the Pakistanis consider it a failure? No

Do the Turks consider it a failure? No

So who are you to decide its a failure, when you can't even what it is.

The purpose of the pact is convergence on joint interests, a framework for the codevelopment and supply of weapons, investments into defense structures, mutual support of defense industries, and a framework to coordinate joint actions. As well as collective defense, though the entire framework as of yet has not been fleshed out. We are at the very infancy of the defining of terms.

You left out "net security provider", "regional military architecture" and "Muslim NATO" in your fancy word salad.

And Saudi has asked for help. MBS called Trump twice yesterday but he said no. Pakistan and Turkiye said no afterwards as well. So much for replacing the USA.

"Muslim NATO" was something internet people called it. No one referenced it as such from the treaty text itself nor the people who signed it.

Saudi has not asked for help, there has been no formal notice made to Turkiye.

Maybe Iranian trolls should go talk about how Iran is leaving Hezbollah and the Shia of South Lebanon to fend of themselves, all after Hezbollah entered the war to help Iran open up a front against Israel.

Well, saudi's east west pipeline is hit on several locations, including pumping stations, causing it to shut down.





With this, Iran/houthi axis has shut down almost entire saudi oil export..
 
Nato couldn't dislodge the houthis and gave up after a month so mbs knows its just a waste of time to even ask help from Mecca pact. Also saudi started it by bombing Yemen first so it doesn't even meet criteria for activating a pact.

Because the USA already said No.

Read the article I posted that analyzes this pact and come back with something sensible, if you have any.

Saudis are some of the most dumbest animals on the planet. At this point a swine roaming in Islamabad has more intelligence. They actually try to get out of harms way.
