You started bashing KSA going back 100 years on how House of Saud found power. Infact it was military and strategic planning of their tribe to unify the arabia. Otherwise today entire KSA would be dozens of tiny countries like Bahrain. And Israel would have defence pact with those small territories (like Bahrain today)... instead Thanks to house of Saud, Its unified KSA today and has defence pact with Pakistan & Turkey.

But anyways if you are willing to start from 1930s then you must appreciate that all arab states had strict stance against Israel until very recently despite US pressures (by turn of this century). But on other hand pre-1979 Iran was strategic / covert ally of Israel and they had strategic alignment, even intelligence sharing.

KSA recognition means Pakistan and Indonesia follow suit and then smaller Muslim countries will say if those big nations joined Israel then why not us ?

Before the Iran wars Mr Hussain Haqqani, of Memogate fame, who now lives in and works for the UAE, was pushing a similar line on Pakistan tv stations about Abraham Accords.

Don't blame KSA for Pakistan's doing. Its well known fact that Pakistan army wanted to have normalization with Israel till Gaza genocide happened. I said, "its well known fact". Because Army aligned journalists went to Israel few times in the past. There's no way they could have gone on their own. If Pakistan truly wants to not normalize with Israel then it can just stay away even if KSA joins abraham accords. Though KSA isn't going to join it. If they didn't join it despite massive pressure by US and after all those houthis/ Iranian attacks that means they are solid on their stance. Despite Iran and Iran aligned miiltias are pushing them to go opposite side.

Arabs put a ban on export of OIL to Western countries While Iran supported Western countries and Israel.
1- In 1970s, United States announced a major $22 million military resupply package for Israel - OAPEC led prominently by Saudi Arabia's King Faisal retaliated hard. Putting complete blanket ban on export of oil to all western countries that supported Israel like United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and other nations perceived as pro-Israel, alongside severe production cuts.

Iran’s Position During the Embargo

• No Participation: Iran rejected to join embargo against Western countries.
• Profiteering: The Shah aggressively pushed for higher oil prices within OPEC meetings but publicly urged the Arab states to lift the embargo, warning that it would damage the global economy and backfire on producers.
• Supplying the West and Israel: Iran continued shipping petroleum to Western countries and remained a quiet, vital oil supplier to Israel during this period.

So, read history before blaming arabs for being puppets. It was Iran, who was lifeline for the west and Israel for greater period of 20th century.

Sir Percy Cox , Gertrude Bell, TE Lawrence and the Cairo Conference of 1921 have more to do with the modern borders of the Middle East than any tribal chieftain they selected to carry out their agenda.

No, I don't read selective history. I cannot discard what Iran was doing pre-1979. Also the point is if House of Saud was a puppet of west then how come it had so tough stance against Israel almost entire its history - and how come it led the oil embargo against collective West ? That oil embargo brought markets on their knees. and Its not just one time oil embargo, They did actions against western hegemony time and again. 1986 "Market Share" Price Crash etc.

So accusations made by you guys have no weight. Those are fake. Iran was more Pro-West & buddy of Israel than arab nations when it suited them.

I know 100%. But people here were painting a picture that arabs / KSA were always puppets of west and friends of Israel. They started from 1930s... Its quite opposite .. so If they started history 100 years ago. Then I must remind them what the history was. Arabs were totally against Israel and on other hand Iran rejected many moves which could have hurt Israel back then. Iran became life line of Israel when entire arab world and Pakistan were pushing against Israel.

Because Pakistanis have been indoctrinated to literally worship the holy al Sauds since the 1980s and some of them are feeling pain at the comeuppance of the Al Sauds.

Pakistan is land of indus valley civilization that is one of the oldest civilizations ever. Similarly KSA is modern name of 7th century arabia.
