If the saudis were smart, they would abolish all provinces and name half of sawdi-arbia as mecca and other half as medina.

And then you would read in the news that the Houthis are firing missiles into mecca and medina region on a daily basis, some days hitting 400 km from the grand mosque, other days 50 km.

Looks like Iran's brotherly warnings to Egyptians was successful and Egyptians won't take part in massacre of Yemenis.

Sisi insists that Egyptians will not be a part of attack on Yemen.


I know for a fact that Egypt and its army doesn't have a good experience with intervention in Yemen. One of the causes of Egyptian army's defeat against Zionists was exhausting of its forces in Yemen. Egypt had sent 70,000 forces in support for northern fighters under Nasser.

I hope it doesn't end like that for Pakistan. A country as big as Egypt was fully exhausted let alone others.

As a reminder, Egypt under Nasser supported North Yemen against Saudi traitors.

Nasser was a nationalist Arab leader who nationalised Suez canal.

Its okay brother, I am open minded to opinions, but I will not have threads become echo chambers. If you find any post breaching forum rules or derailing discussions please report them. This thread is about the MECCA pact, if people want to discuss other matters they can take it to other threads.

Egypt had sheet of an army in the 60s ...for any army with a bit of shame Yemeni expedition should have been a training ground and battle hardening process....take out the era of Pharos , Egypt had been a **** state throughout.

Muslim World League condemns Houthi attacks on Mecca and Medina​

The Muslim World League has strongly condemned Houthi attacks targeting the cities of Mecca and Medina.

In a statement, the Mecca-based organisation said the attacks were conducted “in disregard for the danger of frightening the feelings of more than two billion Muslims, and the violation of the values of our true religion, and the most basic principles of humanity”.

The league added that it stands in full solidarity with Saudi Arabia as it takes all necessary measures against the group.
