Riyadh reopens international airport as Houthi attacks persist

Saudi Arabia has reopened its main airport for international flights two weeks after deadly strikes by the Houthis knocked the facility out of service.

Terminals 1 and 2 of King Khalid international airport resumed domestic and international flights today, it announced, even as the Houthis continued to fire drones and missiles towards the Saudi capital.

Last week, the Riyadh airport opened to limited domestic flights.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the facility is still ā€œunsafeā€.

Saree warned ā€œall international, regional and local airlines – as well as staff and travellers – against usingā€ Riyadh airport as it is ā€œunsafe and serves as a military target for our forcesā€.

Rhetorics aside , Iran is willing to comply with American demands , all it wants in return is face saving and easing on sanctions.
Easing of sanctions is a biggg ask, so iran has to go down the self inflicted madman route further to hope to scare everyone

The USA and Israel can play the slightly longer game, there are chances of another internal uprising in Iran if the consensus changes this war is going nowhere,it's not there yet, but if round two happens Iran can harm Arab states and Pakistan, but what is going to compel the west?

And......If they cut cables guess what, everyone gets starlink in the region, another win huh

Saudi emergency agency lifts danger alerts as Houthi attacks continue

The Saudi Civil Defence agency has lifted potential danger alerts issued for the regions of Taif and Jazan.

Alerts were sent out via mobile phones at 12:53pm (09:53 GMT).

ā€œThe danger has passed. … For your safety please continue to follow the instructions at civil defence and avoid gatherings and photography at all costs,ā€ it said in a statement.

Iran can harm the Arabs , however harm will not be significant but the price Iran will pay is going to be horrendous.....as far as Pakistan is concerned , Iran will not dare to harm nor does it have the capacity to harm.... cutting of the cables will have temporary effect.... redundancies are built in the system.

But.... Remember the random missile attack, why they did that I still don't know? So we have to observe they did "dare"

It's not harm maybe but intent to harm which should be the same thing in many ways, they absolutely want the leverage to have the ability to harm

The revolution has actually always harmed Pakistan, they just did it ideologically and Pakistan was silent to it and consequently it's evident Pakistan equities are not seen as anything to worry about from Iranian pov

The Iranians didn't waste a second for a magi to go to India and encourage it to play a bigger role in the me, an invitation to balance Pakistan, because it's always a Shia sunni tension strategy

They even know that there is no appetite for India to do this but they still sent the message.

If the Iranian tried to harm Pakistan then it will provide golden opportunity to MDA to reshape the map of the region to it's liking.... Iran may not have the same borders as it has now and Pakistan would be able to quell the balauch insurgency for good.

Man, this thread is getting as extreme as the Iran-US war thread with gung ho Iranians. Never did I think on all my days on PDF where we would allow posts justifying attacks on Makkah and Medina

@RescueRanger @Musings

Enough is enough bros, this is upsetting for Muslims on here
I don't know, it rarely happened before. I still remember when we were managing defence.pk, these type of discussion were never allowed.

If India pays billions to a company like Palantir to create a AI warfare system or improve its local system so India can track, identify and eliminate individuals in Pakistan in a future skirmish in 2030 what will Pakistan do about it ?

Will KSA fund Pakistan AI's industry to reach Israel's capability in AI warfare ?
Anthropic is used by DOD, but AI failed to give expected result, used in Iran-US,Israel war, war designed very much failed, but still much better then Palantir .
