I have said many times before..I will say it again this Mecca Defence pact is not worth the paper its written on.

Even against the weakest of adversariers, the Houth rebels, an alliance can face..the alliance partners have faltered.

Saudi Arabia is in deep trouble.
Pakistan and Turkey have quietly slinked off.

Though from time to time Pakistanis Punjabi establishment will make loud declarations on how much love the Saudi and anyone attacking Saudi Arabia will have to go through them first.

Who is actually helping the Saudis defend against the Houthis missiles. It is actually Israelis and now the Egyptian are offering assistance.

Even the Bangladeshis who at one point were very eager join the gravy train they thought the Mecca defence pact was, are not uttering a peep now a days.

*Reminds me of an incident regarding the Battle of Basra during WW1. The British Army was charging the Ottoman positions. The British cleverly put the Muslim soldiers, overwhelmingly from the sub-continent, at the front ranks. When the Ottoman field HQ learnt about it the order to open artillery fire wasn't issued even when the field commanders were desperately asking for it. Needless to say the battle was lost along with the Muslim Heartlands. The Ottomans knew that their time to rule is coming to an end for every creation is Fa'ni, and ONLY HE is Ba'ki.

An Arab country with a strong military will either, attack Israel or not rely on the US U.K. FRENCH that much (and by extension the US and other European will lose influence) why saudis and others probably don’t get sufficient support and training from countries that sell them these expensive weapons.
Saudis should dump US and EU U.K. as arms supplier to the kingdom. Instead turn to Chinese who will offer you all the tools and training your military needs. On how to operate Chinese weapons.

They started with "Ebu Jahil" and "Ebu Lahab" states as far as their arrogance is concerned. It'll take time to get rid of these behavioral traits. The more ferocious the Houthis attacks are the more accelerated will be the process....

Pakistan and Saudi should set up a foreign legion in Saudi.
Saudi hires Pakistanis to be part of it and stationed in Saudi. Pakistan has a lot of TLP, SSP etc type people which can be sent. This would increase remittance and provide employment to people who would otherwise be unemployed or contribute inside Pakistan.
A legion of 50k-100k can be set up using Saudi money and sent to Saudi. What Saudi does with these soldiers are their responsibility as these soldiers would officially be part of the Saudi army, not Pakistani army. Their participation in the Yemen war would not mean Pakistan enters the war. All people in the legion would be tracked at all times inside Pakistan to ensure they don’t cause issues inside Pakistan if and when they return.

The Saudi war with Yemen has no end in sight. The region looks like it’s on the brink of a massive war again. Things seem to be headed to ground war across the region. It’s only a matter of time Saudis ask Pakistan to send troops into Yemen. This can fulfill Saudi demands while keeping Pakistan officially out of the war and Pakistani soldiers remain focused on the defensive of Saudi inside Saudi borders.
