Makkah Defence Alliance: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

Reports of armed clashes inside Iran along Pakistan/Iran border - location Khash, Sistan and Baluchestan Province where unknown gunmen have attacked a police station.

mossad in iran trying to stir shit between the 2 countries? Or smugglers unhappy with the incresed difficulties in their smuggling petrol/gas business?

Happens so often that very good chance it is a coincidence. Iranians would have to be suicidal to open up another front right now
Jabheh-yi Mubarizin-i Mardumi has been active inside Iran for some time now and their MO is just like the rats on our side of the border, focus on attacking security forces. The timing of this attack in light of regional tensions is what makes it more sensitive.

Lately there has been an uptick of reporting on activity within the Sistan region, I am sure Iran had plenty of people on ground to deal with a handful of retards armed with rusty old AKs.

As for Iran, too many cooks spoil the broth. For a reason a unified command practicing "decision by participation of the stakeholders (no autocracy)" with clarity and singularity of purpose and mind is required to earn HIS RIZA....

Agreed, but you know it would literally just take Pakistan to say "Yeah f**k it" and let the US emass 4-6 divisions by the Iranian border then have 100,000 Rednecks enjoy beach BBQs all over the southern Iranian coast a few weeks later. Literally Pakistan would not have to lift a finger. Iran must know this.

The problem is, if you read reporting from people like RUSI, ISW or even Brookings (yes I know Brookings is heavily biased - but they analysts are top notch), Iran does indeed face a serious threat of elements that can be used by external actors to destabilize parts of Iran. It wouldn't have been the first time.

And that is my primary concern, despite what some well wishers here think. Push come to shove we know how this plays out. So we must be very cautious about what is happening. Look at the signals coming out of the UK, France, Germany, Italy...

Nations completely removed from the conflict in terms of physical location... I am particularly impressed by France and Germany's mature stance on this with regards for pushing for dialogue.

Today the French Govt has pushed out notification for citizens to start preparing 72 hour emergency kits in case of national crisis.

Yep , there are as many fault lines in Iran as there are in Pakistan , we should remove one fault line by taking over sistan balauchistan and chabhar if the opportunity knocks at our door.

Yaar, in UK too gov has launched a media campaign for "resilience" and told us we need 3 days food and water, FM radio, medical kit etc.

First time ever this has happened in my lifetime in UK
