Makkah Joint Defense Agreement: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

All of these countries would respond when attacked, right to respond or not. We are wearing off from the original argument on 'a war of choice' into 'right to attack'.

If this agreement is as you have implied, knowing that Pakistan and Turkey will be obligated to come to Saudi aid, will an Iranian first attack on Saudia not constitute a war of choice on its part against all three?
Pakistan and Turkey will not enter a war to save some badu-epstein friend from Ale-Saud. They will just witness its decline without intervening, just like Morocco does and will prevent their nation from wars which can take decades.

Your question was answered in my previous post.

Ok, i agree but actions speak louder then any words, i expect that blockade of Yemen is lifted asap and Hezbollah is given breathing space as gestures of good will in spirit you mentioned, for me it is minimum right now if we are speaking about antisectarianism and unity of muslims. All other disputes, grievances can be talked about it focusing on common external enemy not making internal one due theological differences as many times in past.

Hmm... this wound was opened up by that same crowd. You'd hear that crowd describe it as such...

Saudis have the case of having the cake and eating it as well. And I do not think... You'd find Turkiye or Pakistan getting roped into the trenches in an endless war. The prince has lesson to learn here or have his lunch eaten.

However, should you see Yemen actually start rolling into Saudi territory... where lines collapse a deployment is possible only defensive in nature.

This pact is defensive... against an aggressor. I don't think anyone will be able to justify deployment into a third country as defensive. Second, the nature of expected collapse that ushered in this alliance is on the backs of having the empire rolling out of the region... Foreseeing a power vacuum... and lastly it has only been made possible by mellowing the stance of those very forces that split Muslims apart... who would've called and you'd find their legacy still calling them apostates... preferring to work with ones they call ... from the book... the forthright in the accepted realms. Standing tall on their historic faith... whose meats are permissible... a whole genre.

I don't think they feel safe with that lot anymore... not because they had an epiphany but they can see their future.

Iran will be quite happy to take off some burden from its shouldes but i really doubt that they should happy if this pact is some new kind of shield for jews and americans in region, there will be simple litmus test to check what it is, Yemen blockade imposed by saudis for example.
Come on, this is unreasonable because it sounds hegemonic

This is a balancing move against iran and deterrent to the rest, so they go ape causing instability in the region and the rest have no limits or interests?

You act like Iran is not capable of beautifully sucking up to the west ...they are and can

The Iranians 'mock" turkey and Pakistan because of their association with Western defensive agreements like NATO etc these were fully operational in place and serving a purpose before the revolution even happened

Yet the Iranians are not above sucking up post 911 to partner up..... enthusiastically, against the Taliban

Remember turkey and Saudi did not really lift a finger last 6 months, stayed level headed, the bases and operational agreements don't really count as a compelling reason

This treaty is useless till logistic route is available between all three countries, meaning without iran and iraq land links being not available, logistically Pakistani manpower cannot get to the doors of europe or israeli aggression to protect any of the two countries (turkey and saudia) … iran and iraq are important for an effective treaty.

Secondly, is it a posture against rising regional influence or Iran, UAE or yemen, or these countires really want to protect against israeli aggression?

Iran doesnt give a damn about Indian

How many of its sailors and ships went to the afterworld by Iranian missiles? These British-Raj chutyas even neglect the public opinion from within India.

Iran almost always make room for India, they seem to have tremendous headroom no matter what

By your own war logic why was India not on the target list as an operational and economic node?

Why make an excuse that modi does not represent the people.... already the foundation for future alignments you are making

maybe maybe maybe maybe etc.
you don't know anything about Saudis or the gulf ,all you do is just typing nonsense.

the saudis always want someone who defend them and to use them as cannon fodders , they tried to use us against houthis but we understood it and withdrew our troops , they used the moroccan and houthis shot down a moroccan f-16 and the pilot got killed , they used the sudanese and plenty of them died in yemen etc.

turkey has no experience in wars and will probably get its ass kicked by houthis..
Bro, leave the war stuff to Turks, you should not talk about the stuff you don't understand.

I can understand the alliance between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia,
Half of Saudi Arabia population is Hindu Indians. So, how can you understand such a alliance between them two?

I honestly don’t see where this supposed “Iranian cultural influence” in Central Asia is today. The people of the region — Uzbeks, Kazakhs, Turkmens, Kyrgyz — overwhelmingly identify as Turkic, and their cultural, linguistic, and historical connections run directly through the Turkic world and modern Türkiye. That’s who they relate to, not Iran.

Yes, Tajikistan is an Iranian‑speaking nation — nobody disputes that. But that’s one country. Bringing up Pakistan or Bangladesh doesn’t make sense here either; they’re South Asian societies with their own identities, not part of the Central Asian Turkic sphere.

The reality is simple: Central Asia is a Turkic region, shaped by Turkic peoples, and it continues to align with Turkic states. That influence isn’t going anywhere, and neither Iran nor China can replace it. You can see it in language, identity, regional cooperation, and the growing role of the Organization of Turkic States.
Central asia is deeply divided and they absolutely hate each other like greeks and turks. They genocide each other if they could.

The only players in Central Asia are Russia which is the language spoken and the peoples names are russian. They also part of Russia CSTO mutual defence treaty. The other big player is China who has invested untold billions and have oil pipelines and massive infrastructure deals in central asia which borders china western region.

Turkey doesn't share a land border with central asia and militarily or economically is irrelevant in central asia besides some token words.

I can understand the alliance between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, after all, one has wealth and the other has military strength. They can form a complementary relationship.
A Pakistan-Turkey alliance? I can't figure out what complementary elements you have.
If a group of puppets in Europe continue to meddle recklessly, the future battlefield in Europe will be in grave danger. Turkey, as a NATO member, must join the war. Will Saudi Arabia and Pakistan be willing to bear the burden of war for Turkey?
This is a What if scenario ..... even I could present such scenarios like

- what if Turkey come under attack by other NATO members for some weird reason may be due to its conflict of interests with some countries of NATO over Greece, Lebanon, or over Kurdistan issue ???

- What if KSA fall under social and cultural unrest due to policies of Crown Prince Salman or power struggle with in the Riyal family ???

- what if Pakistan which already in political and administrative chaos and also come subjected face low intensity limited war like scenario by India over continues period ???

- what if all these scenario occured at the same time with this 3 countries ???

So the point is there are may be many triggering points which may create many imaginary scenarios but nobody actually knows what future hold ....

Important thing is can this agreement fullfil the immediate national interest of these countries or may reduce the immediate threats these countries are facing .... I am not very confident on this either but something is better than nothing ....

So let see what future this alliance have

If Iran attacks Turkey or Pakistan first, then it's a war of choice from Iranian side and Iran has to bare the responsibility.

For example if Iran takes side of Greece against Turkey or side of Afghanistan against Pakistan.

By taking sides I mean military attacks from Iran against Turkey if Turkey has a war against Greece or military attacks from Iran against Pakistan when Pakistan is fighting the Taliban or India. In these cases Iran is guilty and Pakistan or Turkey have the right to attack Iran.

NOW If Iran attacks or clashes with Ale-Saud and some third party attacks Iran, without Iran attacking them first, then the third party entered a war of choice against Iran and Iran has the right to respond fully against the source of the agression which is the third party.

I think you have laid bare the ramifications of any regional conflagration fairly vividly.

There is no reason for either Pakistan or Turkiye to enter in a war where the whole region ends up burning to maintain a monarchy.
Iran has same choices in joining enemy of my enemy list... Afghanistan and India would eagerly ally in that regard...

Or Greece, Armenia against Turks...
Etc
However, it is bunker mentality setting in... which can encourage everyone to consider an enemy when they are not...

For example... zion has that side covered... the whole anti Turkiye and Pakistan chessboard...
Where it's core is zion, Emirates and India... extended into Greece and Cyprus on one side and from India into Afghanistan on the other end against Pakistan. There aim in this was to turn Iran over or cause a collapse... regardless...
Zion works on manufacturing a path to prophecy. With Saudis not bending on Abraham Accords... the whole IMEC agenda is on the back burner... one that Mileikowsky pitched right on the eve of Gaza genocide. It needs a pliant Saudi Arabia that concedes on this... Indians had been cozying up to Saudis for that exact eventuality...

So not everything is as it seems on the first glance... however considering yourself as central cog of it all... in a bunker mindset will make you assume that all are out to get Iran.

Dream on. Hope is not a plan

They are temporarily breathing the same air.

They have no citizenship

You're a Chinese. how would you know anything about Turks of Anatolia and Turkic people of Central Asia?

Don't think Either Turkey or Saudi will dare to fight India if India goes to war with Pakistan over kashmir or Indus water.
I don't think they'll even come to Pakistan's aid if Pakistan somehow goes to war with Iran over something...
This is just an agreement on paper, nothing more.

What is happening is perfectly aligned with the regime's self-avowed strategy to be a "net security provider". That means becoming hired guns to provide security to others at the cost of our own security.
