Yes I know from other posts as well that you enjoy this. He's just talking out of his ass and hasn't done anything to acquire Canada, Greenland or the Strait

His completely screwing your countries relations with key allies. Trust deficit is a thing now and whether that can be dealt with post trump remains to be seen. The damage his doing could be long term.

If it was solely a Donald Trump problem, then that damage can be easily recovered with new leadership. However, that is not where the problem is.

The problem is with the entire American political system and the deep state that has allowed him to do all this without any democratic guardrails and without any checks or balances. That is where the trust is gone, it is gone from the American state and political system itself for being so dysfunctional, and that is the part that is pulling countries away from the USA.

No one can believe that the American "state" and institutions is allowing him to do all that he is, it is totally "unchecked" chaos that is "allowed" that is the issue.

Yes you have made your point quite well. I still believe because of Trump directly it could be decades until a full recovery is achieved. Of course. I hope I'm wrong cuz I tend to be a glass half full person

A complete unforced error on Trump's part. Canada never did anything to the USA. By the way, I'm a US citizen and saying this.

the only thing many/most canadians been doing is avoiding travel to/via the USA, although i've also heard people still going to usa for family visits (obviously everything about "ICE" is exaggerated).

The border towns/cities economies that depend on Canadians visit are struggling and they're pissed at Trump. Even some snowbirds avoided usa since Trump came into white house.

Lets see which way this tide turns. Not a good thing for both sides right now.
