MARRAKECH AIR SHOW 7-10 October 2026

Edge signed a memorandum of understanding with the Moroccan National Defense Administration during the Marrakech Air Show 2026, to explore opportunities for local production in the Kingdom in the fields of high-performance light weapons and aviation engines, through collaboration with Moroccan companies.

This memorandum supports Edge's long-term commitment to the Kingdom through knowledge exchange, production localization, technology transfer, and contribution to the development of sovereign national industrial systems.



We enhance Moroccan air capabilities.

Edge signed a contract with the Moroccan National Defense Administration to supply the Royal Moroccan Air Force with the Desert Sting 16 guided glide weapon and the precision-guided Thunder P-31 munition, and to integrate them into its fleet of combat drones.The contract was signed during the Marrakech Air Show 2026, to provide advanced capabilities manufactured in the United Arab Emirates, designed according to the operational requirements of the Royal Moroccan Air Force, while ensuring the reliability of supply chains and long-term support sustainability.

 
A Moroccan-Polish-American partnership to create a defense industrial unit in Morocco, dedicated to the production of military vehicles, trailers and specialized equipment, with the aim of meeting the needs of the Royal Armed Forces, promoting technology transfer and localizing military industries within the Kingdom.

 
We conclude our participation in the Marrakech Air Show 2026 after four packed days, during which we strengthened our partnerships with the Kingdom of Morocco and our commitment to supporting its defense needs and developing its local capabilities over the long term. 🇦🇪🇲🇦

The engines will enable us to work on 100% Moroccan-made MALE drone projects.

Locally manufactured engines will also be installed on long-range suicide drones such as the IRIFI with a range of 2000 km.
 
GOBI TEMPEST interceptor drone with a range of 10 km

Capable of shooting down drones of various types at speeds exceeding 250 km/h

The drone is manufactured locally in Morocco

The investment will expand to a large factory employing 1,000 people and producing 55,000 drones annually, including interceptor and suicide drones
