Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

Since the start back in 2014 the PLC have had Saudi backing along with Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan, and the United Arab Emirates who provided air and ground forces, while Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and U.S. private military contractor Constellis headed several ground operations. UAE also hired mercenaries. They also enjoyed support from USA, UK and France.

While The Houthis which were often referred to flip flop wearing rag tag army with no air force, had support from Iran.

Both sides also faced IS and Al Qaeda.

So for the Houthis still to be going and attacking targets deep into Saudi territory and even into Israel is something that shouldn't be ignored. They had also defacto stopped shipping in the red sea. I would say not bad for a so called rag tag flip flop wearing army with no air force facing superior forces, technology and huge support in various forms from various nations. I take my hat off to them. And I ain't a supporter of Houthis or anyone in the middle east. I would also take my hat off to the Iranians for similar reasons I think even USA and Israel were both surprised that Iran hadn't folded yet and has kept the pressure on and kept decent capabilities. I would also point out that the Houthis although the Houthis hold less land mass than the PLC they however hold more population dense areas and more important cities and towns then the PLC, the PLC mostly hold large areas of desert with only a few key cities still under their control looking at territory map clearly shows this. If I am honest I don't think the Houthis are anywhere near collapse. As said time will tell you made the quote Houthis will collapse soon. So by that I presume you mean days, weeks, or a few months. Let's wait and see. If the Houthis still fighting this time next year I will be reminding you of your ill fate comments.

All that novel is sweet and dandy but they are now getting hammered. Throwing a missile once in a while in a conventional warfare is equal to throwing a stone that is how irrelevant it actully is in modern conventional warfare. While getting air force penetration from the back.

They are getting beaten on all fronts and hammered and There is nothing anyone can do about it not the houthis themselves or any outside force.

So I actually believe that this is true Syria sending in hardened jihadists who are wanting to go to war and Syria can get rid of these guys without having to fight they get the war they have been wanting, here’s my question if this war is going as well as people say it is why are they sending fighters into a region did Syria it is our duty to help our brother Saudi Arabia didn’t dole out some cash and my other question is why is Syria doing this while Israel is carving out more territory why aren’t Arab and Muslim states going to defend it?

Syria denies it will deploy troops to Yemen, says military cooperation with Saudis could expand

Seems Saudi getting hammered as well and needs jihadists terrorists to come to the rescue. The fact remains Saudi and PLC after 12yrs with all that support etc still can't win the war and won't be anytime soon that's if they can win currently it's not looking good maybe with the additional help from Pakistan, Egypt and 10k Syrian terrorists maybe they can make some gains. Although they must be desperate asking for jihadists to come to their aid.

If mouths could win conventional warfares yours would have won something via keyboard warrior´´ness.

But that is just not how things play dude.. Life is continuing normal in KSA and Houthi rockets almost irrelevant as they are getting shoot and incepted left and right..

Saudis aren´t fighting on the ground. It is a civil war Yemenis vs Yemenis.

You trying to push the goalpost here and there won´t really work mate.

All that matters is who wins and besides the Syrians denied entry.

The Houthis are almost done no need for foreign boots on the ground.. We aren´t far off from a houthi collapse.

You will start to come off very silly once you see towns like Mukha and Hoeidadah start falling then only will you realize where this is going and that there is no point of return.. The end of the houthi era is very near and they will become a relic of the past just like Assad, he is now only a thing of the past and remembered in books for failing or mentioned as an example or lesson just a thing of the past an afterthought..

Yemeni Armed Forces:

We are fighting fierce battles against the Houthi militia on the Taiz and Tur al-Bahah fronts. We carried out targeted strikes in al-Masrakh and al-Maqatirah, destroying combat vehicles and ammunition carriers and killing and wounding members of the militia reinforcements heading to support their fighters.
