Beautiful country indeed, I have been to Geneva, Basil, Lausanne, Zurich, Interlaken and Lugano for various reasons but mostly tourism. Even Chamonix is inches away from Switzerland (France) but one of my favourite spots in Europe.

Been to all except Geneva. Did Bern instead. Basel is "ground zero" when I / we are there. Basel is HQ for DHL Global Forwarding Finance org. I know, right? Why not Bonn? Had the chance for an ex-pat assignment in Basel until Mrs. AZ realized that would be 3-5 years away from the grandkids. She wasn't taking the FaceTime route.

Well, for true representations of that, one needs to go out west.

Dinosaur prints in stone. Sea creature skeletons on top of mountains. Mile deep canyons that were once proud mountains. Volcano craters that are now lush meadows. Timeless parched rocks that are now flooded by deep lakes.

The wonders of nature in all its facets are much more than mere dualities to those who are aware of them.
