Aye yo, , don’t lump all of a certain age in the same boat. The difference is growth mindset versus hoarding mindset. Those who have it in hand don’t want to risk opening their fists to grow for fear of losing market share to someone else. These mindset transcend age. There are just some that benefit by being big fish in small ponds. And there are other, from that and other are groups, that share with each other, knowledge, resources, encouragement, to see his brothers and sisters also prosper, as on this forum. But, sadly it is a far too small portion of the public that thinks this way, but I suspect because they themselves don’t have the means, not because their hearts aren’t in the right place.

On topic, but from the same thought process, we limit ourselves to cricket as a proxy fight against India, we need to focus on global sports to orient ourselves away from India.

I’m not really a cricket fan, but I have spoken to many cricket fans from other countries and realize that the game is fading from popularity globally.

IMHO, football (soccer) as well as possibly track and field and maybe basketball maybe better sports to train our youth to play; endurance training is very important and relatively affordable to train a large number of youth.

I don’t agree on boycotting Indian sports. There is still a value in staying rent free in their minds. Let them appear unsportsmanlike and unprofessional in competitions, by their own actions. Let the world see them as they behave.

IPL revenue 1.1 billion dollars.

Actually, In the Asia Cup, the revenue is distributed equally among all Asian cricket boards. So there’s no special financial advantage for the BCCI just by playing this tournament.

The Asia Cup matters much more for the smaller Asian cricket nations, since it gives them exposure and funding. If it were only about money, India could easily earn far more by hosting bilateral series against teams like New Zealand, South Africa, or England instead of spending time on the Asia Cup

Pcb should ask icc to penalize India, though it won't happen. Icc runs on Indian money.

But bigger insult is Pak losing to India as usual in cricket, though PAF did teach IAF 6-0.

Pakistan put condition like removal of match referee plus banned him ever entering Pakistan ever and if they don't agree Pakistan will not play rest of the matches.

With India, any nation is always ready to play. Why do you think Australia, England, South Africa, and New Zealand regularly schedule series with India?

The simple answer is money. At least 80% of ICC’s revenue comes through India,

and those cricket boards, just one or two series with India is enough to sustain their entire cricket infrastructure for the year.

That’s also why they’re fine sending B, C, or D teams to play Pakistan — because those matches don’t generate big earnings.

The real dollars are in playing India only. So if india will agree to play and have free calander then any country for bilateral tournament - they will stand in queue for it

Example England gets around US$41-42 million annually from the ICC but from a single tournament with india in 2021, they Revenged approx 137 millions...... It's 3 times more what they get from ICC.....
