Maybe policy has been changed now ...I am talking about three decades ago......why do we treat army officers as aliens from another planet ?..... they're Pak citizens , well trained and disciplined... it's their right to get jobs.....most of the army officers retire at the median age of 40 . They still have young kids to take care off.

brother its about due process . follow the same rule as civilians do . none will speak otherwise its against competition spirit

he was a research associate previously, then a legal consultant since 2015 (no specific role pr responsibility mentioned, perhaps he was just part of a team or on a managerial post). Only from Aug 2023, he rose to the top.

He is PhD from university of Manchester...he held many jobs in UK and Pakistan in the related field.

A research associate means he has already done a PhD. Let me break it down. To be a HoD of a good university in Pakistan, one should be a PhD holder with several (more than 20) publications and 100s of citations.
On top of that, he must have been a team leader, secured funding, and managed a program/course before reaching the head. Then there are many more positions before he becomes a VC.
You said he deserves that as he published books, is part of think tanks, headed many companies and turned around many organisations from loss to profit.
