Good job with making such a wholesome Army abusing thread that even the Indians feel at home, posting on every page. Very Well indeed, guys. And then you all ask why many of us hate IK for poisoning the minds of Pakistanis after licking the same boots for 20 years (and which he will 100% do again if given a chance, that's a complete given and many of you know that deep inside, to be true)
All because you could not stand a department that not only defends Pakistan but probably everyone in Pakistan or their family members are linked to directly or indirectly anyway. Also, if they take any benefits, who else is not wholly corrupt in this whole system, either financially or morally at higher levels ? Everyone takes a share when they get at the top and they all come from us.
Everyone at the top is one of us, our society, we all talk good but when we reach those levels, whether its politics, judiciary, army or police, everyone does the same. These people at the top do not come form Vietnam or Cambodia, you know.
Way to act self righteous and throw stones while sitting in glass houses !
Yes people decide who governs them.Man... I can pick any institution and have the same line of reasoning i.e., politicians in India are representatives of the people and come from the people. Everyone is corrupt. Don't be self righteous.
The truth is that "people" decide (and should decide) who governs them. And then people have the right to demand accountability and find issues where they exist. If politicians don't do well holistically, they get booted out. Same should be true of any other governing/power-seeking authority.
Only difference is in Pakistan, Musharraf continued to rule despite significant issues that people had with his government. There was no way to oust him or Zia and now I think it will be Asim Munir... that is what separates democracy from this type of hybrid/military raj. Also, if Munir is all powerful, why will people not fix accountability - you parachute a person with little of no experience and make him in-charge and he does a crappy job. What should people do - stand aside and clap? This mai-baap culture needs to stop.
Yes people decide who governs them.
Exactly .. there goes you answer. Its eventually the people who through the whole system allows who governs them, no matter what they claim otherwise.
you are writing from an Indian POV and its okay .. but our geolocation, border issues, politics, problems, internal dynamic, history, societal buildup are entirely different. I don't have a month to explain this all to you so I'll stop it at that. But thanks for the concern.Right and also the second part - people decide who governs them and have the right to criticize and point out the failures... so there is no issue in someone pointing the fault of appointing someone with little or no experience in a job esp. when it leads to mismanagement

I am not sure what can be a good title. However, I am just making this thread to emphasize that the Amry doesn't use just 6% of our budget.
all of this, and nothing of value.Good job with making such a wholesome Army abusing thread that even the Indians feel at home, posting on every page. Very Well indeed, guys. Everyone at the top, if corrupt, in any dept, is one of us, they all reflect our society and thinking as a whole, we all talk good but when we reach those levels, whether its politics, judiciary, army or police, everyone does the same. Why is it that we can't seem to get any good people anywhere or in any country we go to ? Because we are all eventually like this, some less, some more ... there is no need to make one Dept a scapegoat !
Way to act totally self righteous and throw stones while sitting in glass houses ! The Day you ask IK to apologize for his bootlicking in last 20 years, then maybe IK, as well as his followers, will be in the right to scream about this all.
