The fifth annual Falcon Air Meet competition, hosted by Jordan and the Royal Jordanian Air Force, centered on the F-16 and featured units from Jordan, the U.S. Air Force and Navy, the United Arab Emirates, and a Mirage 5 unit assigned to the Pakistan Air Force.

A souvenir photo taken in front of a Mirage IIIB, in January 1968 in Mont-de-Marsan in preparation for the delivery of the Pakistani Mirage IIIEP.

The first pilots were the squadron commanders Muhammad Mahmood Alam and Mervyn Middlecoat (who is not in the photo).
