Oh yes, I used a variety of camera's start from Canon SX HS50 compact camera with CarlZ lens and 50x zoom. Then upgraded to Nikon D300 dslr, to Nikon D750 (amazing Camera) and finally to my dream camera D850. This DSLR is considered the best DSLR in the market, its bulky and heavy but with 48 megapixel full frame camera, touch screen, 151 auto focus points its a amazing overall camera. Lots of people told me to go for mirrorless camera's as they are newer technology and lighter in weight but i was pretty set on D850. Maybe in future i may trade this one for Nikon Z series but for now I am happy with it. Only downside is the weight, with a zoom lens or even a 85mm or 24-70mm this setup can be get very heavy specially when you are traveling with it.

Mirrorless are good camera's, if budget is not a concern for you. And weight bothers you, for me the bulk fat heavy feeling of a camera feels nice, until you attach a heavy lens lol But feel free to ask any question about camera's, i am no expert but know a thing or two about them.

There was a tour guide telling us about the history of each ship we pass through, but there was a hot girl sitting next to me so i was either taking pics or talking to the girl, paid no attention to that poor fellow, but i did give him 10$ tip at the end for keeping us entertained and providing all the information.

Thought it was underwhelming/boring..maybe i went the wrong time of year or something (February)...the bridge drive was the highlight for me.

Been to Buffalo/Niagara
Canadian side Rating: A
US side Rating: C- (if no access to the falls..like staircases with raincoats...I'd give it an F)
So the Canadian side is like Coney Island, NY. You will be smiling the whole time. The riverfront area's gardens are immaculately kept.
The US side is like the East Side of Detroit. There are boarded up buildings..and don't walk around at night.

This is the only thing to do on the US side..and it is crazy because it is like walking in a hurricane...then after you finish RUN back to the safety of the Canadian side

I haven't looked into day to day expenses in Huwaii islands, like food/gas and other attractions, another reason is bad flight hours and layovers. But i will keep an eye on deals that pop up where flight price drop significantly.

Key West from what I heard from those who traveled there is as same as what you have said, kinda boring but the journey and bridge drive was amazing/scenic. I don't drink nor party so its even less to do for me, although i did found out that you can take a ship to dry Tortuga Island and even camp there over night, if my memory serves me right it was 165$ for 1 night camping there, but the water over there is Amazing (seen in pics).

For Buffalo, I met this couple who were in the same boat as me when on whale watching, we talked and become good friends, exchange numbers etc, they told me that i should visit Niagra falls and those finger lakes in NY, they live close to one of these lakes and say its very pretty in autumn season. There are plenty of places for Skiing as well.

I calculated Anchorage trip, total cost of flight+hotel+car was around 1000$, adding food, snacks,gas, activities it can go up to 1300-1400$ as a coworker who was stationed in AK for a long time said food and other stuff is expensive there.
