Oscar, you truly have the ability to present facts that most of us know, want to say - but are unable to put them out in such detail.

That being said..., since we're on the Topic of the GREAT Leader..., (apparently) the GREAT Leader himself was (once) in favor of having more provinces.

PPP is currently against it. CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah & Sherry Rehman have already given the Party's response/view.

PML-N have been quite. Not a peep. Although, that didn't stop Rana Sanaullah from taking a swipe at Mohsin Naqvi - someone who took his old position from him.

This actually might be the golden oppertunity for PTI to become relevant (again).

I swear upon Al' Mighty..., agar aaj IK ka statement agaya kay mazeed aur Provinces honay chye hain... You will see all his...(correction: HIS) cult followers in favor of more Provinces.

I can almost guarantee that all the PTI-IK followers that are against this system, will change their tune as soon as the Order comes from himself.

Talks of cults aside - it boils down to trust. If Asim Munir told me I'd be getting £1000 a month into my account just for existing - I'd be worried what the catch was.

Often who says something matters as much as what they say. Look at the current dictatorship - do they have a positive track record for anything at all other than holding up a certain pair of golden/tan orange globes?

A broken clock is right twice a day but I'm never going to assume the instance I'm looking at it, it's showing the correct time.

I'm a PTI supporter, for me IK was the best of a bad bunch, but at a macro level - that's not really saying much.

On the topic of more provinces, I think it'd be a good idea, if it's coupled with greater power to local government. Take Karachi for example. If the Mayor of Karachi was someone with the legislative power and the funds to fix Karachi a infrastructure problem - and I elected him, after 5 years I could hold him to account for failures with my vote.

If he can blame Sindh govt and claim that x territory is under federal control and Y is under provincial control and Z is controlled by Navy etc - how can I really expect anything? I'm fatigued living my life - as a voter how am I supposed to navigate the excuses and spiderweb of power and influence? Is my man actually hard done by or is he incompetent? Does my party need to be in control federally, provincially and locally for him to be effective?

I know sweet FA about Karachi, I'm just using it as an example as its a mess.

My point - more provinces with power devolved to local government AND a lean form of government - will probably help.

Do I trust the current administration to deliver that? No.

As a Sindhi Most people I know from my community know the Jeay sindh and their views are pathetic and pointless. having sindh as separate nation is most stupid thing to do.

I dont want to discuss anything on this thread as there are sane posters giving right views. But this sindhudesh stuff comes from people speaking my language so that is why I have posted.

You also said that IK was the best of the bad bunch. Perhaps & debatable - but is it because he didn't get the chance to hang around long enough or been presented with a second chance. Who knows if he too would fit the bill just like the Sharifs & Zardaris.

Lets not kid ourselves. Project Imran was an Establishment experiment. Calling it a Failed Experiment is matter of opinion. Khan may of been charismatic, popular and (maybe) honest..., but he certainly wasn't a politician by a long shot.

How many PTI fanboys can defend the whole Usman Buzdar fiasco?

Only a qualified f#*king idiot would believe that IK/PTI won the General Elections back in 2017. When was there ever a 'saaf & shifaf' elections in Pakistan?

I'll end my point with this... (If) Imran Khan ever got the chance to return, I assure you that he will NOT (dare) to make the same mistakes (f-ups) as he did in 2021-22.
