Cuomo may then run as a independent, that will cut the Democratic vote and could possibly mean a Republican mayor

His strength however, is he is young, strong, vibrant, switched on and smart
His campaign knows how to use social media and with so much angst about Trump a Republican mayoral candidate may have a backlash against them
