The Trump administration is blaming foreign countries for the pollution over Phoenix and other U.S. cities. Without contaminants blowing in from Mexico and Asia, their reasoning goes, Phoenix would have been in compliance with U.S. pollution limits.

Some environmental groups and experts say that argument is preposterous.

Happy May Day!

My 84 year old mother shared a story with me. We were discussing old traditions on May Day before the commies took it over.

She can remember as a little girl, at the country school, spending the day picking flowers and putting them in a paper basket the school teacher gave her.

Then they wrapped the flowers on every door knob they had time that day.

Agreed. Preposterous. I lived in the Valley for many years. And the issue has existed for all those years.
