To answer the question on title... YES! He got fired for this reason and I even said he deserves to get fired for this. They also had Daniel Jones and before het hurt his name was brought up about MVP consideration with Colts. Vikings coach O'Connell comes from the Sean McVay staff and made Sam Darnold into what he is right now and could have also made Daniel Jones into a beast with Vikings.

Just when I think the Penguins are playing playoff caliber hockey, they say "hold our beer".
