The fire is about 8-10 miles north of Sedona in some rough country. From here to Sedona is about 46 to 59 miles by vehicle depending on the route one takes.

By air it is 36 miles.

Prevailing winds are blowing west to east so no danger of the fire coming here.

Looking at some of those cars, I have a sudden urge to watch a few reruns of Adam-12 later.

The Internet says it is nearly impossible to get two male cats to get along when I checked six months ago.

Here's three male cats, fighting over territory.

Haven't yet installed my air conditioner, but it looks like Ivan is ready for cool air.

Buddy gets next best spot.

Midnight looks to be happy to get third.



Do not need another cat!

But Ivan cornered/called out this five week old kitten last night around midnight, scared to death, to let me bring him home, over on Maple Street.

Carried him home, inspected him. Very badly infected eyes. Midnight will be blind in his right eye.

Wish I knew about Midnight at least a week ago. But it is what it is.

Bobby, who I grew up with, got the best allowance in town. Mr. Wood owned the local mortgage bank.

Bobby, one day in a fit, calls child protective services on his father because he has to change the channel on the TV on command.
